Kodak has named Dan Lombardo general manager of its Cinesite Hollywood postproduction unit. The announcement comes in the wake of Kodak's decision to close Cinesite Hollywood's visual effects division in mid-June (HR 2/28). Once that division is shuttered, Ruth Scoville, currently president and chief operating officer at Cinesite Hollywood, is expected to step down to pursue other interests. Lombardo, vp production at Cinesite for the past two years, has been tapped to oversee the company's reorganization as it focuses on providing digital film mastering, restoration and scanning and recording services to filmmakers. He reports to Colin Brown, CEO of Cinesite Worldwide.
