Maureen Driscoll is a writer-producer-actor who grew up in Montana. After earning a degree in journalism from the University of Oregon, she spent a decade working on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., before realizing she really hated politics. She moved to Los Angeles where she wrote for game shows before moving on to late night TV, including Jimmy Kimmel Live, the MADtv re-boot and as the head writer of The Dish, a spin-off of The Soup. She's the author of twenty-five novels and got her first TV acting role just before her 60th birthday, proving that good things come to those who are too stubborn to give up.
