- Alain de Greef was born on June 4, 1947 in Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts-de-Seine, France. He was an editor and actor, known for L'oeil de la nuit (1978), Touentiouane (1997) and À bout portant (1968). He died on June 29, 2015 in Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt, Vaucluse, France.

- Has his look-alike puppet in the French show Les Guignols de l'info (1988).
- He met Pierre Lescure at Antenne 2 in 1981 and they created the TV show 'Les enfants du rock'. They later founded under the direction of 'André Rousselet' Canal+ which opened on November 4 1984.
- After his studies at IDHEC now Femis, he became chief-editor at ORTF (Franch Public TV and Radio) from 1970to 1876.
