What would happen if Capcom and Disney collaborated on a fighting game featuring the Disney princesses back in the 16-bit era? That's what designer Mike V. imagines in a series of images taking Snow White, Pocahontas, Ariel from "The Little Mermaid" and more and reimagining them as Capcom-style brawlers.
What makes these images so impressive is that they don't stray too far from the original aesthetic of the characters while staying true to the look of fighters during the era when fighters like "Darkstalkers" were big (in fact, from some of the character poses, you could imagine that game was a large point of inspiration for the artist). Unlike some mashup creations, this seems like something that plausibly could have existed during the wild and crazy period of 90's licensed games.
Here's a pitch for nothing, Capcom: a Capcom heroines vs. Disney princesses fighting game.
