You cannot imagine a Rohit Shetty film or series without a bunch of dashing cars flying in the sky, and his latest release, Indian Police Force, is no exception. However, apart from some intense action sequences, the series has a lot of other spices, such as tragedy, romance, and some unnecessary melodrama. Starring Sidharth Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi, and Shilpa Shetty in the lead, Indian Police Force revolves around a fierce force of Delhi Police investigating a series of bomb blasts in different parts of India. The terrorist attacks committed by some Islamic extremists claimed a lot of innocent lives, putting the Delhi Police in grave concern. Let’s discuss the unfolding events of the narrative to find out if Delhi Police Special Cell Officer, Kabir Malik, and his team would be able to get a hold of the terrorist responsible for these blasts.

They say that third is a charm, but in the case of Wei Shujun, all four of his movies were blessed with the honor of being shown in different segments of Cannes' competition programs. In 2018, his short “On The Border” won the Special Jury Award, his feature debut “Striding Into The Wind” entered the Official Selection in 2020 followed by the sophomore drama “Ripples of Life” screened in Directors' Fortnight in 2021. At this year's 76th edition of Cannes Film Festival the audience had the opportunity to see his beautifully accomplished noir “Only The River Flows” in the Un Certain regard competition.
Each of Wei Shujun works differs in topics and style, and it was intriguing to follow his artistic development over the years. Sanya Malhotra’s latest movie, Kathal, co-produced by Guneet Monga Kapoor’s Sikhya Entertainment and Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, is one of the very few movies with an intentionally absurd storyline. It is a satirical comedy about a local politician whose prized jackfruits go missing and a young police officer who is adamant to solve this bizarre case to prove herself.
The story is inspired by similar real-life incidents that have happened in the past, like an official almost draining an entire dam to retrieve a phone accidentally dropped by the owner while trying to take a selfie, or an Ias Officer that cut practice sessions at a Delhi stadium short so that he could walk his dog.
As absurd as the story might sound to many, the cast and crew vouch that Kathal is not very far from reality.

With the onset of movie streaming platforms you can get a bit nostalgic for the days of roaming around the video store searching for something to watch and a little element of added mystery as to what you were watching, as the internet had yet to take hold. For many of those of us who lived that era, our introduction to the world of Hong Kong Action cinema was the documentary “Cinema of Vengeance”. Among the many clips it showed (and made you want to find the film in question) was “Tiger Cage 2”. When I did indeed track down a copy of “Tiger Cage 2” in my local HMV, it had bestowed on it's cover an image of Donnie Yen wielding a sword and a swift purchase soon made. At this time, any new movie was an adventure and little was I to know that I was about to...

It honestly seems a little surprising that in the midst of a career upswing, Eddie Murphy would look to tread territory that others have covered, to varying levels of success. But here he is, in negotiations to star in MGM's new take on The Pink Panther.
If he does make a deal, Murphy will be the iconic Inspector Clouseau, as brought to life by Peter Sellers in the 1960s movies and Steve Martin to less critical acclaim in the 2000s.
Sonic The Hedgehog filmmaker Jeff Fowler is directing from a script by Chris Bremner (who co-wrote Bad Boys For Life and the upcoming fourth entry in the franchise). This new take on the Panther format would utilize a blend of live-action and CG to see Clouseau teaming up with the Panther for the first time. Which is a shift from when the movie was first rumoured back in 2020.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will be directed Jeff Fowler (Sonic the Hedgehog) from a script written by Chris Bremner. Dan Lin, Jonathan Eirich, Larry Mirisch, and Julie Andrews will serve as producers.
In keeping with The Pink Panther’’s long history, the project is said to mix the original franchise — a comedy-mystery based on Clouseau’s misadventures as a detective — and the cartoon feline that quickly became the subject of its own series. As a live action-cgi hybrid, the movie will reportedly see a human cast break the animated panther out of prison in order to complete another heist.
Clouseau was made famous by Peter Sellers, who portrayed the French policeman in the original 1963 Pink Panther film before reprising the role for two sequels in the ’70s.
