- Nicolas Neuhold is an Austrian/Luxembourgish film director with a passionate focus on comedic storytelling, working in both German and English. He uses his craft to tackle challenging subjects such as international diplomacy and climate change, in a Mary Poppins "spoonful-of-sugar" way.
Nicolas' short films, documentaries and feature debut Another One Opens (2013), have enjoyed over 280 festival screenings. He has won several awards, including Spain's Bigas Luna Award for best screenplay for his short film Hot Dog Stand (2004), a Royal Television Society award for his documentary Cannes - Through the eyes of the hunter (2001), and several awards for his short film Faleminderit (2020).

- Having experienced the audience reaction to his comedic short film Hot Dog Stand, Nicolas became fascinated with the genre. He studied comedy writing and improvisation at Chicago's Second City, and taught a class on comedy at his former film school in Ebeltoft, Denmark.
