Enna Zone Donlic comes from Bosnia and Herzegovina. She earned a Master's Degree in Political Science and Sociology from the International University of Sarajevo, a Master's Degree in Civil Law from the University of Sarajevo, a Master's Degree in Democracy and Human Rights in South-East Europe from the University of Sarajevo, and the University of Bologna and a Master's Degree in Criminology at the University of Sarajevo. She is a Ph.D. student at the Faculty of Law. She was a Congressional Fellow at the U.S. House of Representatives. Enna Zone also spent three months in Portugal on a research exchange at the University of Fernando Pessoa.
She had the incredible opportunity to work as a Fellow at the Delegation of the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is a member of the BOLD program of the Embassy of the United States in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and an alumnus of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. She began to engage in social activism during her high school education at the "Edhem Mulabdic" High School in Maglaj, as the president of the Student Council. She was involved in the work of the European Student Think Tank as an ambassador in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since 2014 and the end of the study visit organized by the Institute for European Affairs in Belgrade, she has been awarded the title of Youth Reconciliation Ambassador. She is the co-author of the book chapter entitled Bosnia and Herzegovina - one belt and road in the book Young People and the Belt and Road: Opportunities and Challenges in Central and Eastern Europe, Joint Publishing Hong Kong (2021).
In 2020, she gathered the group of young people to write a new Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The group which is now known as Youth Constitutional Convention wrote the new Constitution in just 6 months over the Zoom platform. To this day they are working on the promotion of the Constitution. Premier of the documentary movie, directed by Enna Zone, titled "At the end of the tunnel" was held on September 28th for audience in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, while there is a plan to hold another premier in Washington DC.
She was one of the participants of 25for25 project. The project in which two American photographers have collaborated to create "25 for 25", an exhibition featuring 25 young adults who were born in 1995, the year in which peace was established. Through both images and words, the photographers have sought to present authentic depictions of Bosnia and Herzegovina's young adult citizens.
In December 2021, Enna Zone had the honor of being the only representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Summit for Democracy organized by the President of the USA, Joseph Biden. She has always wanted to be an agent of socio-political change and contribute more to society. She has a great interest in EU integration, international law, criminology, political systems, democratic institutions and elections.
