Hit vampire drama “Anne Rice’s Interview With the Vampire” will return for Season 2 on Sunday, May 12, on AMC and AMC+, the network announced at their Television Critics Association press tour panel on Tuesday.
Additionally, David Costabile has joined the cast as a guest star. Known for his performances as Mike “Wags” Wagner in “Billions” and Gale Boetticher in “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul,” Costabile will play the role of “Leonard,” “a seasoned TV personality who has a run-in with Molloy.”

A second season of AMC’s “Interview with the Vampire” is on the way, but one actor who won’t be returning is Bailey Bass. After playing the role of Claudia in the show’s first season, Deadline reports that Bass is exiting the role. Delainey Hayles will now be playing Claudia.

The second season of AMC’s Interview with the Vampire TV series is set to begin filming in Prague this week (before moving on to other locations like Paris and New Orleans), but before the cameras start rolling we have some unexpected casting news to report. Deadline has broken the news that Bailey Bass will not be reprising the role of teen vampire Claudia in season 2. Instead, she’s being replaced by Delainey Hayles, whose previous credits include the TV shows Too Close on ITV and Holby City on the BBC.

Bailey Bass, who played the series’ female lead, teenage vampire Claudia in Season 1, will not continue on the adaptation of Anne Rice’s novel.
