Ron Howard's upcoming Beatles film will be featured in Hulu Documentary Films, the streaming service's newest division. Howard's movie – working title The Beatles: Eight Days a Week – will debut in theaters and on Hulu this fall, Variety reports. The deal marks Hulu's first exclusive documentary premiere following a theatrical run.

The companies will show new material from the film, now in post-production, including fresh footage from Fab Four’s early performances.
White Horse Pictures, which launched last year and recently premiered the Ford Mustang doc A Faster Horse in Tribeca, represents Us rights with Scott Pascucci in consultation with Apple Corps Ltd and Imagine Entertainment.
The documentary explores The Beatles’ inner workings and relationships and will trace their path from the early days at Cavern Club in Liverpool through the touring years to the final concert in Candlestick Park, San Francisco, in 1966.

Anthony Goldschmidt, the influential graphic designer who worked on the iconic posters for scores of films, including Blazing Saddles, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial and Thelma & Louise, has died. The massive undertaking, a joint operation between Howard’s Imagine Entertainment, Universal Pictures, and NBC, plans to spread the seven-novel saga over three movies with two television miniseries bridges covering the gap.
But Deadline’s Mike Fleming is reporting the $300 million project is concerning executives enough that they’ve put pre-production staff on hiatus while everyone discusses how to pare down the costs. The scheduled September start date for the production has been cancelled, Fleming writes.

TV casting director Vicki Rosenberg Suchin passed away in her sleep of natural causes on Tuesday, March 8 in her Tarzana home. She was 59. Suchin was a casting director who, over 25 years, cast hundreds of pilots, series and telepics with a list that includes Taxi, Who's the Boss, Married...With Children and Judging Amy. She began her casting career working with Linda Otto and Joan Barnett in 1976 before moving on to NBC Network Casting. She then worked for Paramount Television Casting and ultimately landed at Columbia TriStar Television as Evp of Casting. She was the wife of personal manager Milt Suchin, who survives her along with her son Zachary Suchin, an Internet entrepreneur. She leaves behind two brothers, Imagine Entertainment president Michael Rosenberg and Robert Rosenberg. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations to be made to Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles.
