The feisty Sally Pressman from Army Wives landed a new gig, a role on ABC’s Once Upon a Time. She announced the news via Twitter along with Adam Horowitz confirming it. No word yet on what role she will be play yet or when her character will come into play. Some expect she will play a role in flashbacks, but that will remain to be seen. Hopefully based upon her tweet though that means she will be more than a one time guest star. Here was how Sally announced her role.
Once Upon A Time…there were extensions, eyelashes and gowns…and a Very happy actress
We love how she announced the news. It was a fun play and also clever as it wasn’t exactly clear as day. We personally cannot wait to learn more about her role. I always enjoyed her acting on Army Wives, so we...

You may have recently heard: How to Get Away With Murder – the third prong in ABC’s new “#Tgit” triple play from the Shondaland production house — was not created by Shonda Rhimes.
Rather, Murder is the brainchild of Shondaland vet Pete Nowalk, a non-angry white man who has penned scripts and produced for both Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal. As such, the freshman drama — premiering Thursday at 10/9c, after the Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal season openers — marks the shingle’s first non-Shonda creation to score a time slot since Jenna Bans’ Off the Map.

We’re seeing 12-year-old Liv, eating breakfast and happily highlighting her dog-eared copy of How to Win Friends and Influence People: Teen Edition!
Then in comes … Mama Pope! And sadly she is not Diahann Carroll (h/t snicks), but she is Khandi Alexander, which is pretty great. She kisses Liv good-bye, all, “I’m about to get on a plane to London, and nothing can possibly go wrong. But just in case, I made casseroles for the next 10 years.” Then she leaves.
Buh-bye Kandi Alexander! See you next in that episode where it turns out you’re still alive.

ABC’s Scandal started brewing again this Thursday night, and per its trademark style raised just as many intriguing questions as it exasperatingly answered.
To quickly recap: Olivia suffered a verbal beatdown at the hands of her father, B613 boss Rowan, before electing to not skip town but stay and manage her “First Mistress” infamy. The Gladiators lobbied to help, but Liv kept them at arm’s length, opting instead to “pull the fire alarm” to score facetime with Fitz… and Mellie. As is the usual style of Shonda Rhimes, the casting of Jack Coleman in the upcoming third season is laced with secrecy. Why does Rhimes do this to us? Why can’t she just tell X is playing Y and just leave out all the really juicy bits so as not to spoil too much of the show? I’ll tell you why: because she believes that it is better to surprised even by the smallest of things than to know exactly what’s coming every step of the way. So even if Jack Coleman is playing the long-lost brother of so-and-so, we’re never going to know because that would ruin the surprise of so-and-so having a brother he never knew about!
But this doesn’t mean I can’t have some fun and try and guess whom Coleman could be playing, right? We know from TV Guide that...

I’m going to give you fair warning regarding the following news article: while it will be entirely about the casting of Sally Pressman in the upcoming third season of Scandal, it will in no way be relevant to anything that will actually happen within the universe of the series. I have too little information to go to make anything even remotely resembling an educated opinion. So expect a lot of rambling on about nonsensical ideas and poorly formed hypotheses. It might be fun, but it could also be thoroughly mad. Either way, we’re going to be talking about Scandal, so that’s a plus, right?
So TVLine reported Pressman, known for her role in Army Wives, had joined the cast of Scandal for a multi-episode role. The thing is, nobody is willing to say what character she’ll be playing, if any. And I mean that “if any” quite literally.
