It is ridiculous that in episode 3, titled The Secret Inner Lives of the Swans, Truman Capote pops too many pills so that he would never have to worry about waking up again, but death is still so far from his doorstep. Because death sometimes means a permanent freedom from the daily torment of life, and Truman Capote, in this third episode of Feud: Capote vs The Swans, seemed to be someone who didn’t deserve it at all. In the previous episode, Truman Capote called himself Prometheus, as he ignited a fire among the swans, making them turn against each other, but in this episode, he is seen regretting his choices back in 1975, when he dropped the bombshell by publishing his salacious article in Esquire.
Episode 5 opened with a furious Babe Paley finding out about her husband Bill’s affair with Happy Rockefeller, which had just been made public by Capote’s article.

In Greek mythology, after the Titan Prometheus enraged the god Zeus by stealing fire and gifting it to mankind, Zeus chained him to a rock, while an eagle devoured Prometheus' liver for eternity. Such was the price the Titan had to pay for his so-called transgression, and with the discovery of fire, mankind undoubtedly shifted to its next phase of civilization. Robert Eggers' haunting, intense "The Lighthouse" ends by embodying Prometheus' fate within a layered allegory: The lifeless body of Ephraim Winslow (Robert Pattinson) lies on the beach, his entrails being consumed by pecking seagulls ad infinitum. It's a haunting image that feels disturbingly final, charged with interlinked symbolism that bleeds into one another as the film crawls to its horrifying end.
"The Lighthouse" encapsulates the endless vistas of the human experience that flit between defensive and tender, vulnerable and murderous, finally descending into a destructive brand of madness. The setting,...

This article discusses spoilers for "Oppenheimer."
Welcome to being a movie fan in the 21st Century, folks. It's not a new phenomenon for the weeks and months leading up to a major blockbuster to be filled with all sorts of hot takes and rampant speculation, but never have we been subjected to that through constant, unfiltered social media reactions. Sometimes, it takes the form of really fun and organic viral sensations but, other times, you find yourself staring at a series of ill-informed and wildly off-base tweets making up the wildest claims about a movie -- a movie which many of those opinionated individuals haven't even seen yet. "Oppenheimer," for better and worse, has been subject to both extreme ends of the spectrum.
That's not exactly a new development for Christopher Nolan, a director who has inadvertently attracted the most vocal movie fans out there. You'd be hard-pressed to find...
