John Prine is rightly getting plenty of love right now, which makes it a good time to reconsider the life and work of his friend and occasional collaborator, Steve Goodman. Thirty-five years after his death, Goodman is now mostly remembered as the writer of “City of New Orleans,” which Arlo Guthrie turned into a piece of haunted, mythic Americana; Goodman also produced one of Prine’s strongest and most agile albums, 1978’s Bruised Orange. I'm really upset about potentially widowed sloths in the Amazon. Sloths deserve to hang upside down with their mates.
On Scorpion Season 3 Episode 19, Team Scorpion heads to the Amazon to befriend a monkey and stun spiders.
Okay, there was a virus or something that needed an antidote, but who cares about that when there is a monkey!
This case is just pure fun. It's exactly the kind of case that Scorpion excels at, nothing too serious or "Oh My God, So And So Is Going To Die!"
It was what the world needed on this dreary Monday night after the evil Daylight Saving's Time.
The obvious lesson of the case is to read up on where you are going because somehow the tour book (or whatever Cabe was reading) will have crucial intel that will save the day.
The first reference to the sloths was cute, but then it was...

Wreck-It Ralph is heading back to the big screen, and this time, he’s wrecking the internet. The Oscar®-nominated Walt Disney Animation Studios team from the original film is reteaming for the follow-up, including director Rich Moore (“Zootopia,” “The Simpsons”) and producer Clark Spencer (“Zootopia,” “Bolt”). Phil Johnston (writer, “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Zootopia,” “Cedar Rapids”) joins Moore as director and a writer on the project. John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman return as the bad-guy-turned-good, Ralph, and the girl with the game-winning glitch, Vanellope von Schweetz. The untitled sequel will hit theaters—literally—on March 9, 2018.
The filmmakers and Reilly made the announcement on Facebook Live today: https://www.facebook.com/Disney/videos/10153760073335954/
“From the moment we started working on the first ‘Wreck-It Ralph,’ we knew there were so many possibilities with these characters,” said Moore, who has been developing it since shortly after the release of the first film, and...

Wreck-It Ralph (voice of Reilly) longs to be as beloved as his game’s perfect Good Guy, Fix-It Felix (voice of McBrayer). Problem is, nobody loves a Bad Guy. But they do love heroes… so when a modern, first-person shooter game arrives featuring tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Lynch), Ralph sees it as his ticket to heroism and happiness. He sneaks into the game with a simple plan – win a medal – but soon wrecks everything, and accidently unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens every game in the arcade. Ralph’s only hope? Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Silverman), a young troublemaking “glitch” from a candy-coated cart racing game who might just be the one to teach Ralph what it means to be a Good Guy. But will he realize he is good enough to become a hero before it’s “Game Over” for the entire arcade?...

Walt Disney Pictures’ highly anticipated animated film, Wreck-It Ralph, released its international trailer today. The animated comedy stars John C. Reilly as the title character, along with Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer, Jane Lynch, Alan Tudyk, Ed O’Neill and Mindy Kaling.
Directed by Rich Moore, the film marks the first time that many popular videogame characters will be seen together on the silver screen. Although it has already been announced that Mario won’t make an appearance, Sonic (from Sonic the Hedgehog), Inky, Pinky, Blinky and Clyde (from Pac-Man) and arguably the biggest name, Bowser (from Super Mario Bros., duh) are all present and accounted for, along with numerous others, in either lead roles or cameos.
The film follows Wreck-It Ralph, who grows tired of being the villain in his game Fix-It Felix, a game he has been in for 30 years, and decides its time for him to become a hero.

At first glance, "Vegas" -- the heavily hyped CBS drama premiering Tuesday, Sept. 25 -- looks like a throwback to a TV drama from several decades ago. It stars Dennis Quaid in his network series debut as Ralph Lamb, a local cattle rancher pressed into service by the Las Vegas mayor (Michael O'Neill) when the town's sheriff goes Mia under mysterious circumstances.
The time is 1960, and Vegas is in an awkward transition from the bump-in-the-road casino town familiar from Warren Beatty's "Bugsy" into the glitz magnet that it would become. Certainly a financial boom is in the offing, however, and that has caught the attention of the Chicago mob, which has dispatched Vincent Savino (Michael Chiklis playing a composite character) to look after its interests -- which, from all appearances, are in direct conflict with the values and interests of Lamb and his fellow locals.
"Basically, 'Vegas' is about cowboys vs.

Walt Disney Animated Studio has released a second Wreck-It Ralph trailer. It gives another look into the crazy world that “bad-guy” Ralph, played by John C. Wreck-It Ralph is the villain of the arcade video game Fix-It Felix Jr., in which the game's titular hero fixes a building that Ralph destroys. For over 30 years, Ralph has been doing the same job and has become tired of being the bad guy. Wanting to prove he can be a good guy and not just a villain, Ralph escapes his game through the power cord and lands in Hero's Duty, a light-gun shooter, where he helps the game's hero, Sergeant Calhoun, battle against "Cy-Bugs", the game's alien invaders. He later enters Sugar Rush, a kart racing game set on tracks made of candies, cookies, and other sweets. There, Ralph meets Vanellope von Schweetz, one of the game's characters, who has learned that her game is faced with a dire threat that could affect the entire arcade, and one that Ralph may have inadvertently started.
