Hayao Miyazaki’s latest film, The Boy and The Heron, has announced the voice cast for its English dub, led by Christian Bale, Florence Pugh, and Robert Pattinson. It will see a wide theatrical release on December 8th alongside the original Japanese language version. Update: Watch the English dub trailer below.
Other stars include Mark Hamill, Willem Dafoe, Gemma Chan, Dave Bautista, and Karen Fukuhara, with additional cast members Luca Padovan, Mamoudou Athie, Tony Revolori, and Dan Stevens. Gkids cast and produced the English version in close consultation with Studio Ghibli, and the script adaptation was written by Stephanie Sheh. The English language dub was produced in accordance with the SAG-AFTRA Foreign Dubbing Agreement.
