- Hector 'Toe' Blake was born on August 21, 1912 in Victoria Mines, Ontario, Canada. He died on May 17, 1995 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
- Coached the Montreal Canadiens to 8 Stanley Cup championships: 1956-1960, 1965-1966, 1968.
- Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, 1966.
