Rochele is a native of Detroit who worked at the Barn Theater in
Augusta, Michigan along side Tom Wopat, Marin Mazzie and Adrienne
Barbeau. She received critical acclaim for her portrayal of Martha
Babakina in the Mint Theater's Off-Broadway production of Chekhov's
Ivanov directed by Jonathan Bank (NAATCO).
Recently, she shared the stage with Alan Knee and Carole Shelly in the
Mint Benefit Finding J.M. Barrie at Playwrights Horizons. As a resident
actor for New York's finest; Emerging Artists Theatre Company, she has
created several roles; Roxanne in Lights Out, Missy Futon in Chauncy's
First Dat of School, The Seal in Crewneck, Terrie Tong/Deb in State Vs.
Joop, Celia in V-Day, and won a "Best Actress" award for playing Dora
in Answering Echo in the American Globe Theatre/Turnip Festival.
