It took Prime Video’s Fallout less than 10 days to blow everyone away — to the point that the show got its renewal for a second season a week after the first one was officially released.
The series’ ending left fans bewildered whether there was some kind of spoiler for the show’s promising future, but it now seems to be confirmed by Fallout’s creators.
Based on the video game franchise of the same name, Fallout’s plot takes place somewhere in 2296 in the post-apocalyptic United States with the main character Lucy MacLean desperately searching for her father Hank in deserted Los Angeles.
Her investigations lead to the desired result, but not in its full meaning — the season’s ending finds Lucy reunited with her father, but shattered by the news of his crucial role in the nuclear disaster. The last scenes of the show capture Hank stumbling through a...

The Fallout TV show has reignited the conversation regarding the next installment in the game series. The fourth game was released in 2015, followed by 76 in 2018, marking the last major story update to the franchise nearly 10 years ago.
Nolan’s series, while a great addition to the timeline, now has fans questioning the developers about a fifth game. The studio has been working on other projects in the meantime, and the Microsoft acquisition also needs to be taken into account. But we finally have a reason as to why we haven’t heard of a fifth title yet.
Other Projects Are a Higher Priority Than Fallout 5
Bethesda’s work on Starfield has pushed Fallout 5.
Fallout is one of the studio’s iconic franchises, but it isn’t its only IP. While the last major story addition came in 2015, Elder Scrolls fans have been waiting since 2011 for a proper update. Elder Scrolls Online exists,...

The Fallout TV show has already endeared fans worldwide with its daring depiction of the post-apocalyptic world that the franchise is noted for. However, the TV show is leading to a lot of questions among viewers. Questions that someone from Bethesda will be able to answer, especially the devs of the Fallout franchise.
But Emil Pagliarulo, Studio Design Director of Bethesda Game Studios, has poured water over all expectations by stating that he is not going to be answering questions pertinent to the show, lest there be any spoilers in the answers.
He took to X to pen a post regarding how it feels to not know but why it is important to keep patience and wait for things to unfold in due time.

Spoilers follow for the first season of "Fallout."
With "Fallout," Prime Video delivered one of the best video game adaptations ever, one that stands up there with the likes of "Arcane," "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners" and "Castlevania."
A big reason for the show's success is that it is not a 1:1 remake like, say, "The Last of Us." Instead, "Fallout" tells an entirely original story with brand new characters. There is some overlap, of course, from slightly similar plots to cheeky references and returning characters from the games, but otherwise, this feels less like replaying your favorite "Fallout" game and more like watching a brand new "Fallout" game play out in front of you.
This allows the TV show to tell a good and thrilling story without the restraints of canon or the games. This is how we get the entire pre-war storyline that gives us an origin for Vault Boy and...

With the Fallout TV show now getting both fans and newcomers to the series talking about the franchise, we are starting to learn more details about the games. We got to learn about some aspects considered fundamental to the game series that Todd Howard wanted to include in the TV show.
Other people who have been part of the game development team are also voicing their opinions and trivia on social media. One such person has decided to reveal a piece of information that links the very first game to one of the most recent releases in the franchise, and we are sure no one would have linked it otherwise.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Prioritizes Gameplay over Immersion, and It Works
The Studio Design Director behind Fallout 76 has a lot to say about the new Dragon’s Dogma
In a recent tweet, Pagliarulo expressed how much he liked a sneaky design trick that’s used by the developers of Dragon’s Dogma 2.
(1/2) I'm almost done talking about Dragons Dogma 2. Almost.
I love how the devs employ a classic sneaky design trick. Only occasionally, because you can only get away with it occasionally…...

One of the most surprising games of E3 2016, Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding, will not be on stage this year when Sony presents their wares. Read Kojima's tweet below and see if you can decipher it. Plus, find out when you can see the man, himself, live and in person at E3!
When we began on the long, winding road to E3 2017, one of the games we were most excited to get an update on was Hideo Kojima's first game since Konami, Death Stranding. Alas, we aren't so lucky this year as Kojima has tweeted out that his team has decided to forego E3 2017 in favor of spending that time developing. That didn't mean Kojima, himself, wouldn't still be in attendance, though.
Apologies to our fans, Death Stranding will not be @ E3 as we are fully focused on development. Pls see me with @geoffkeighley on 6/14! pic.twitter.com/w...

Developer: Bethesda Softworks. Director: Todd Howard. Writers: Emil Pagliarulo, Ferret Baudoin, Brian Chapin, Matt Daniels and many more. Bethesda Softworks released Fallout 4, a sequel to Fallout: New Vegas (2010), almost a year ago (Dec. '15), on the PS4. Most die-hard gamers have already decided if this title is for them. However, this player has a few thoughts on this apocalyptic title. This large sandbox styled game puts you in the role of the protagonist as you try to find your kidnapped son. The story does not develop much from here, despite a large ten person writing team. Between the starting point and finding Shaun, there are hundreds of irradiated monsters to be eviscerated. But, the game's combat system is not user friendly. As well, Npc companions act more like enemies. They are always in the wrong place at the wrong time. Fallout 4 is a beautiful game, but it lacks a story driven narrative,...
