- Has known her husband, actor Michael Steger, since they were 12 years old. The two went to Jr. High, High School and college together. They didn't become a couple until after they graduated college.

- Although Brandee was born and raised in California she often refers to her mother's strong and proud ties to the east coast. Her mom is from Philadelphia, PA and her father was from Rockford, IL.
