Vincent Tolliver grew up on a small farm in Arkansas.
His current project making the rounds is "Hancock Park" (a multi-cam sitcom). He is at work on "Chicot County Massacre" (a feature) and in development on an A.I. Thriller called "MAMMY!" Vincent writes an occasional column for The Sun Chronicle, a newspaper outside Boston.
His play James Baldwin: Striking A Match was last produced at the Writer's Guild Theater (2015) in Beverly Hills. He is the writer behind Through It All (2009), the memoirs of W. Christine King Farris, the only sister of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
He attended Hendrix College, University of Southern California, and graduated from Langston University with a B.A. in English.
