Arjun Kapoor and Shradhha Kapoor’s new movie hasn’t even released yet but has shattered some mighty records already! According to the reports, composer Mithoon is planning to make an 18-minute-long song in the film- longest so far in Bollywood. The track, which is going to be romantic, will also be the main theme of the film. According to a report by Spotboye, “The song is written by Galliyan lyricist Manoj Muntashir and will be played at a crucial juncture of the film. The lyrics of the song have been composed in poetical form by Manoj Muntashir at a very early age. He had recited these poems at one of the concerts and director Mohit Suri heard them. Azhar
Starring Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai, Nargis Fakhri, Lara Dutta,Kunal Roy Kapoor
Directed by Tony D’Souza
Rating: *** ½
So did he or did he not? Did cricketing phenomenon Mohammad Azharuddin (who fell short of achieving what Sachin Tendulkar or Sunil Gavaskar did) indulge in….ahem…match-fixing? The film leaves us unsure of Azhar’s moral correctness? In building a case of his heroic stature in and out of the sports field, writer Rajat Arora doesn’t flinch from asking uncomfortable questions about Azharuddin career moves and personal choices.
As directed by Tony d’Souza (whose last film Boss was a big bad-ass sambhar-curry) the bio-pic shifts gears from the personal to the professional without tripping on its nose. And that no mean achievement. In making a smooth transition from Azhar’s misadventures on the field to his complicated relationship-status, the narrative shows a level of sensibleness and straight-talking directness...

Bollywood actor Karanvir Sharma will now be seen essaying the role of the Azhar’s nemesis in the Emraan Hashmi starrer movie. Karanvir plays the inspired character of Manoj, who had an important part to play in the downfall of Azhar.
Karanvir has worked hard to get into the skin of the character. As a part of his preparation for the role, he underwent long hours of committed practice to get the bowling and batting spot on. He specially worked on his bowling style as it had to be tampered from unorthodox to orthodox off-swinger. “All of this had to be done over a course of two months as I was the last actor to come on board. Needless to say the voice modulation, the 80’s hairstyle, the moustache and a lot of tan added to the hard work.”
Commenting on his character, Karanvir said, “This project was interesting because...

‘Attention is the rarest and purest form of generosity’, said the French philosopher, activist and mystic, Simone Weil.
I have always believed that stories have the power to awaken us to the truth. Works of writers, who write from their wounds, have the power to take us via their stories into the truths of other people, whose lives we are willfully blind to, because we are busy amusing ourselves with comfortable lies.
Director Hansal Mehta and writer Apurva Asrani do just that in their film Aligarh. They take us from our safe sanctuaries and our prisons, out of the same old Bollywood stories we have been telling ourselves, and pull us into the life of Dr. Srinavas Ramchandra Siras, a linguist and author in Aligarh University, who was humiliated and ousted from his position because of his sexual orientation.

Now, the young producer is bringing the Hindi film epic drama Gangs of Wasseypur to the Us. Gangs of Wasseypur is director/writer/producer Anurag Kashyap’s ambitious and extraordinary blood-and-bullets-fueled crime saga that charts 70 years in the lives – and spectacular deaths – of two mafia-like families fighting for control of the coal-mining town of Wasseypur, India. Inspired by the real-life exploits of local gangs the film, Gangs of Wasseypur is produced by Guneet Monga (The Lunchbox), and boasts an incredible cast, including Manoj Bajpayee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Jaideep Ahlawat, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Piyush Mishra,...
