Simon Cowell’s best pal Sinitta has been offering her opinions on the remaining X Factor finalists and explains why she thinks it’s such a close competition this year.
Speaking to BBC Berkshire Sinitta said:
“It’s so close. This year I’ve been really confused about what’s going on and what the public want. I think Olly is amazing, a good all-rounder. I think he really is a proper pop star.
“I can see the appeal in Stacey, all she has to do is walk on stage and talk and you want to pick up your phone and start voting for her.”
“And then little Joe, he is the Disney child, you can see him singing all the Disney soundtracks and on the west end.
On the winners single, which is rumoured to be Miley Cyrus’ ‘The Climb’, Sinitta said:
“They all sound great on it,” Sinitta said.

Michael Jackson's memorial service has been held on Tuesday, July 7 at Staples Center in Los Angeles. As it has been reported before, several celebrities participated in the event to celebrate the life of the late King of Pop. Mariah Carey was the first celebrity who performed at the event after Michael's casket was placed in front of the stage inside the building. In a duet with Trey Lorenz, she sang the Jackson Five's hit "I'll Be There".
Also paying tribute to Michael was pregnant Jennifer Hudson. Also taking the stage was Usher, who broke down into emotional performance while singing Michael's song "Gone Too Soon". Michael Jackson's public memorial service showcased musicians of all ages, from Mj's older brother Jermaine to Jennifer Hudson and Usher. But the youngest of the entire event was 12-year-old Shaheen Jafargholi, performing a cover of the Jackson 5's "Who's Lovin' You."
While Jafargholi is not well known in America, he rocketed to fame in the U.K. earlier this year when he competed on "Britain's Got Talent" shortly after Susan Boyle made headlines with her performance on the show. During his first audition, he sang Amy Winehouse's "Valerie" but was quickly cut off by judge Simon Cowell, who dismissed the song choice. Jafargholi then jumped into "Who's Lovin' You,...

Susan Boyle performing at the finale Saturday

The world was fixated on the final "Britain's Got Talent" Saturday (May 30), mainly to see how the unlikely overnight sensation Susan Boyle, who has been battered by the media in the wake of last week's shaky performance on the show would fare. She did not disappoint her fans, who, judging by the amount of traffic clogging the show's Web site, were flocking to their computers to see her performance — but ultimately came in second, losing out to dance troupe Diversity. The 10-member British troupe will receive 100,000 pounds ($160,000) and will perform at the Royal Variety Performance before the Queen.

Did Susan Boyle self-destruct? Or is Simon Cowell tricking us again?
At first we could hope it was all a misunderstanding and Susan Boyle didn’t really scream and swear at the police. Or at her biggest "Britain's Got Talent" rival, 12-year-old Shaheen Jafargholi, as she watched him on the telly in her hotel bar.
Or, worst of all, threaten to leave the show -- only days before Saturday’s finale, the most important day of her life.

Susan Boyle's brother John has argued that Britain's Got Talent producers should have looked after his sister more than they have done over the past two months. The singer's spokesperson recently denied claims that Boyle launched a foul-mouthed rant about fellow contestant Shaheen Jafargholi, while she was also involved in an altercation with passers-by outside her hotel on Wednesday. John told The Sun: "She has been constantly hounded by fans for the past seven weeks. Like anyone she has a breaking point - she is only (more)...

In perhaps an expected outcome, Susan Boyle had a meltdown due to the pressures that came along with her instant fame. The fact was delivered by one of "Britain's Got Talent" judges, Piers Morgan, who said that the 47-year-old shed a tear, packed her bags and threatened to quit the show on Wednesday, May 27.
Susan, who amazed the world in the show's audition with "I Dream a Dream", advanced to the finale after getting voted by the audience on the semi-final round last week. But three days shy from the final round, Susan found the sudden fame overwhelming. "She's been in tears repeatedly," Morgan opened up in a TV interview with Inside Edition which aired Thursday, May 28. "And, as of yesterday, she was packing her bags."
In addition to the paparazzi swarming her house, Susan was also reportedly distressed over her competition, Shaheen Jafargholi. She allegedly watched a re-broadcast episode...

"Britain's Got Talent" contestant Susan Boyle may be cracking under all the media scrutiny over her rise to worldwide fame for her angelic voice. Her language, documented by The Sun in the UK, is less than heavenly. Boyle, a Scot, can sling the F-Bombs like a sailor. In two separate incidents, The Sun recorded her alleged conversation outside a hotel and her prior behavior inside a hotel bar where the matron went off in a tizzy when Bgt judge Piers Morgan heaped enormous praise on her competition, a 12 year-old kid named Shaheen Jafargholi According to the paper's report, police had to intervene yesterday after Susan, 48, "went berserk" in the lobby of the Wembley Plaza Hotel in North...

Nobody said it would be easy. Like so many regular Joes and Janes plucked from obscurity and thrust overnight on the world stage, "Britain's Got Talent" star Susan Boyle is quickly learning that with great fame comes great hassle.
The singer had a shaky second appearance on the show on Sunday, and then judge Piers Morgan's said the singer has been in tears lately because of the intense pressure she's felt on the show.
Perhaps not surprisingly, it appears as if the 48-year-old Scottish singer is beginning to show the effects of that pressure. On Wednesday night, Boyle reportedly lashed out at two reporters who were harassing her at the Wembley Plaza Hotel in London.
