Mandy Schneider is originally from the suburbs of Chicago, where she
first fell in love with theatre. She then decided to go somewhere even
colder, Syracuse University, and get her B.F.A. in acting. After
graduating, she immediately began working at Syracuse Stage in the
Equity play, The Just So Stories, followed by various plays in upstate
New York, as well as performing Twelfth Night, The
Tempest, and As You Like It with Montana Shakespeare in the Parks.
Mandy then returned to Chicago, where she studied with Paul Sills
(Second City), and did many plays all around town. She also began
acting in television, commercials and films; some credits include
getting possessed by a demon child in David Goyer's The Unborn,
squealing a car in Patrick Swayze's The Beast, and shooting some
aliens in Joss Whedon's The Avengers!
Mandy now is in Los Angeles, where she's worked on such shows as House,
NBC's Awake, Strong Medicine, and The Young and the Restless. She also
continues doing sketch and improv, and
also loves to host! You can check out Stupid For Dexter on YouTube
where she gives you the scoop on Showtime's Dexter with such guests as
Collin Hanks, and see her present for various companies in her hosting reel.
