Brian Harnois, formerly of Syfy channel hits Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters International, is starring in a new paranormal exploration show that promises plenty of on-screen evidence, even if just of the eye candy variety. Haunted Hotties is the latest in a long line of spooky investigative shows, but is the first to make its female hunters the focus. In addition to Harnois, the cast includes Julie Anne, Kayla Kizer, Courtney Landers, and Kayla Perkins.
Synopsis:
“Haunted Hotties will embark on a journey that will take them to some of the most haunted places in America and they will try to capture evidence to explain the paranormal world.”

Dead Winter Con, taking place in London, Kentucky, the home state of the founding members of The Liberal Dead, is amping up to be one hell of a get together for die-hard horror fans. Taking place on February 17th-18th, I will be attending on behalf of The Liberal Dead covering the entire convention while celebrating my 30th birthday on the 18th, and I cannot think of a better way to spend it. As a huge Friday the 13th fan, this is sure to be an experience I will never forget with Ari Lehman (and his band First Jason), Kane Hodder, and Victor Miller all in attendance under the same roof.
I for one am happy to see so many conventions taking place in the bluegrass state, it seems each year there is always one or two new ones popping up or that the returning ones double in size. While...

What’s that old saying about the blind leading the blind? The ghost hunter concept has been a joke since day one, ranking just above psychics. Yet, the masses have spoken and they just can’t get enough of ghost hunting teams turning off the lights in old rickety houses and scaring the fecal matter out of themselves. So the poorly named channel now known as SyFy decided a spin-off was in order and sent a troupe of ghost hunters abroad, calling them Ghost Hunters International. Now, it’s not just old houses but dilapidated monasteries and castles getting the “Something just brushed past by arm!” treatment. Okay, at least has improved, but the show is still a bunch of morons afraid of their own shadows walking around in the dark.
