Well, the oddities continued with SurrealEstate Season 1 Episode 9.
Susan's powers are all-encompassing now, and she's using them freely.
The story of hiding her powers and being embarrassed or afraid to use them once she had her way with the mean boy is also chucked out the window.
Priya and her mother both know about Susan's powers and count on her to use them, and use them she does.
So, what the hell is going on here?
There are a few options. Perhaps, there was a misunderstanding, and we didn't get a clear picture of what was happening.
Retconning, which is odd for a series so green, is what we've all been thinking. There are too many of us who have recognized the discrepancy for it to be a misunderstanding, I would think.
Another possibility, if we scrap the two above, is that Susan was hiding the truth from that little girl and Luke and herself,...

While the concept of new scripted shows may already feel like a bygone idea in this era of pandemic-frozen productions, Syfy is actually moving forward with one such offering in The Surrealtor. Moreover, the main cast of the series has been officially announced, with a headliner familiar to viewers of the channel in Wynonna Earp’s Tim Rozon.
The Surrealtor, which landed a 10-episode series order back in February—alongside its touted Day of the Dead series—signals momentum with the announcement of its main cast players. The series puts a fixer-upper spin on the Ghostbusters paranormal exterminator dynamic, showcasing the exploits of realtor Nick Roman (Rozon), who leads an elite team who specialize in dealing with property-polluting poltergeists, fixing the things that go bump in the night so that deals can be closed, all while struggling with personal demons of their own.

Syfy has a brain-eating series in mind.
The network has issued a 10-episode order for a show inspired by George A. Romero’s classic zombie movie “Day of the Dead.”
The remake will tell the intense story of six strangers trying to survive the first 24 hours of an undead invasion. It is described as an ode to Romero’s famous flesh-eaters that reminds us that sometimes all it takes to bring people together is a horde of hungry zombies trying to rip them apart.
The series is being produced by Cartel Entertainment. Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas will serve as writers and showrunners. Romero’s original pic was released in 1985, and was the third installment in his “Night of the Living Dead” series. “Day of the Dead” has been remade twice for the big screen, most recently in 2018 with “Outlander” star Sophie Skelton involved.

Syfy has given 10-episode straight-to series orders to Day of the Dead, based on George A. Romero’s classic zombie film, from Cartel Entertainment (Creepshow); and The Surrealtor, from Blue Ice Pictures (Ginny and Georgia). Both are expected to air on Syfy in 2021.
The Day of the Dead order follows the straight-to-series pickup by Syfy of another classic horror movie title, Chucky, as the network continues to expand its slate into the horror genre. Syfy has been investing in high-end scripted content with a focus on edgy, younger-skewing shows with off-kilter sensibility, including comic book adaptations.
The NBCUniversal cable network, which is mounting a major push in animation, also has been increasingly betting on straight-to-series orders vs. pilots with four in a row: Vagrant Queen, based on the comic and also produced by Blue Ice Pictures, Chucky, Day of the Dead and The Surrealtor. A “Captain America: Winter Solider” co-star has taken up the opportunity to portray a legend that impacted the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Deadline confirms that Anthony Mackie is collaborating alongside director Jamie Linden and others to make an untitled biopic about the iconic athlete. The film is said to take place prior to the 1936 Olympics and Owens’ rise to greatness with his three gold medal wins in front of an infuriated Adolf Hitler. Anthony Mackie ("Captain America: The Winter Soldier") and "We Are Marshall" writer Jamie Linden have teamed up to shop around a biopic about Olympian runner Jesse Owens which would star Mackie.
Mackie and Linden will produce the film which George Olson scripted. The pair will shortly shop the script around in hopes of fast tracking the feature focusing on the lead-up to the 1936 games where Owens' performance shook the world.
Unfortunately the film is entering a crowded field with several projects vying to bring the story to the screen first. One is Stephen Hopkins' "Race" which John Boyega was slated to star in and now has scored Stephan James as Owens. Another is Disney's "Triumph" which David Seidler ("The King's Speech") is scripting.

The Captain America: The Winter Soldier co-star badly wants to play Jesse Owens, the sprinter whose four gold medal performance at the 1936 Berlin Olympics infuriated and demoralized Adolf Hitler and put the lie to his theory that the Germans were the superior race. Mackie got together with his We Are Marshall writer Jamie Linden, and together they are producing an Owens film that was scripted by George Olson under their supervision. With longtime manager and producing partner Jason Spire from Inspire Entertainment, they will shortly shop the script in hopes of fast tracking a feature that will focus on the run-up to the 1936 games, and the profound impact that the performance by Owens had on the world.
