2.5 Compromised
Let me get this out of the way. Compromised was another tremendously fun episode of Legends Of Tomorrow. I need to state this up front, because I do have to get something off my chest.
Holy moley, for the love of Grodd, can we please start a GoFundMe or something so that this show can do something about its location work? That Miami Vice opening was brilliant. The music was on point. Damien Darhk dressed like Don Johnson in 1987 with the perfect synth music was a legit laugh, and... there we are on the...

We spoke to Victor Garber about season 1 of DC series Legends Of Tomorrow, out now on DVD and Blu-ray...
Back in June, I met Victor Garber at a big Warner Bros event in a fancy London hotel to talk about The CW’s DC Comics time travel series Legends Of Tomorrow.
On his way past, Blindspot star Sullivan Stapleton saw me waiting outside Mr Garber’s allocated room. Stapleton stole my sheet of questions, procured a platter of fruit from someone else in the corridor, and barged in on Garber pretending to be a healthy-food-wielding interviewer. A good giggle was had, and I tried not to act too awkwardly amid the celebrity tomfoolery.
I’m not sure if it was the rather odd prank’s doing, but when I eventually got my piece of paper back and we began chatting, Garber proved to be a fantastic interviewee.

DC superhero mash-up series Legends Of Tomorrow takes a giant step in the right direction with episode two...
This review contains spoilers.
1.2 Pilot Part 2
One of the pitfalls of reviewing TV shows is that you end up with egg on your face quite regularly. Last week, I tried my best to sound positive about the first part of Legends Of Tomorrow’s pilot episode, whilst admitting that I found it to be a rather naff hour of telly for the most part. Now, seven days later, Pilot Part 2 has shut me right up.
This episode addressed most of my problems with its predecessor. Crucially, with all the 30-second backstory recaps and shoehorned exposition scenes rushed through last week, Pilot Part 2 gave itself much more room to breathe. Now that the newcomers to The CW are up to speed, we can get to the good stuff.
My personal highlight was meeting Marty McStein,...

Stein Vs. Stein — Tipped off to Vandal Savage’s (guest star Casper Crump) whereabouts, the team infiltrates a munitions deal with Professor Stein (Victor Garber) as their leader. Surrounded by some of the toughest criminals in the world, things quickly go from bad to worse when Savage realizes they don’t belong there. A massive fight ensues and a piece of the Atom’s (Brandon Routh) suit falls off and into the wrong hands, which could potentially cause disastrous consequences in the future. Stein realizes the best way to retrieve the missing piece is to contact a brilliant man – his younger self. He, Sara (Caity Lotz) and Jax (Franz Drameh) head off in search of young Martin Stein (guest star Graeme McComb), much to Rip’s (Arthur Darvill) consternation. The CW has released the first promo for next week’s episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and despite being brief, it shows off an action-packed glimpse of what’s to come now that Rip Hunter has assembled this ragtag group.
For further information, here’s the lengthy description for the second episode – rather unimaginatively titled “Pilot, Part 2″ – which spells out where things go next:
