Mlb Network has added four new faces to its lineup that will join anchor Matt Vasgersian when the channel steps up to bat Jan. 1.
Former New York Mets pitcher and Fox Sports analyst Al Leiter and former Seattle Mariners All-Star and Espn "Baseball Tonight" analyst Harold Reynolds will join Vasgersian as studio analysts. Vasgersian will anchor two programs, both produced at the former MSNBC headquarters in Secaucus, N.J.
"Mlb Tonight" will go on the air at 6 p.m. Et Monday through Saturday, with the daily news program and live looks at games in progress continuing until the last out of the night's last game. During the off-season is "Hot Stove," a 7 p.m. news program every Monday-Friday.
Also joining the Mlb Network staff are Trenni Kusnierek and Hazel Mae. Kusnierek was a sports anchor/reporter at Fsn Pittsburgh for four years before becoming a member of the Milwaukee Brewers...

New York -- TBS Sports said Tuesday that it hired former Espn analyst Harold Reynolds and Hall of Famer Dennis Eckersley for Sunday's All-Star Game selection show.
Like last year, TBS will carry the selection show at 2 p.m. Et Sunday. Reynolds and Eckersley will be in the studio with host Ernie Johnson and analyst Cal Ripken, another Hall of Famer who joined TBS Sports in 2007. The hourlong telecast will announce the selections in both the National League and American League for the July 16 All-Star Game from Yankee Stadium, which Fox will televise.
Reynolds is familiar to viewers as the longtime analyst for Espn's "Baseball Tonight." After leaving the network, he has worked at Mlb.com and SportsNet New York. Eckersley is the studio analyst on the Red Sox regional sports network, Nesn.
After the selection show, TBS will have the Chicago Cubs-St. Louis Cardinals game.
