More than one year after the death of Playboy model Katie May, the woman’s family says her young daughter can’t stop talking about the moments she shared with her mother.
The 34-year-old model passed away in February 2016 days after suffering a stroke. Her family says May’s 8-year-old daughter, Mia, thinks of her late mom all the time.
“She talks a lot about her mother. She always brings up quotes her mother would say,” May’s father, Walter May, tells People of the little girl. “Katie was really into quotes all the time, so she would say quotes to Mia — when they applied.

This Wednesday on Arrow (The CW, 8/7c), Thea Queen returns from the longest, most conspicuous off-site conference regarding local government ever. At a Monday press screening of this week’s weighty, Rene-centric episode, co-showrunner Marc Guggenheim accounted for Thea’s here-and-there presence.

Playboy Model Katie May’s Estate Seeks ‘7-Figure’ Payout After She Died from Chiropractor Adjustment
The estate of former Playboy model Katie May is seeking a seven-figure settlement from the chiropractor she visited just before her death.
The Los Angeles County Coroner determined Oct. 19 that May died at age 34 in February as a result of an injury sustained during a “neck manipulation by chiropractor,” and that the chiropractor, identified as Eric Swartz, shifted May’s neck in a way that tore her left vertebral artery, blocking blood flow to the brain and resulting in a stroke.
Los Angeles Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter told People that her death is listed as an “infarction of brain” and was ruled an accident.

Playboy model Katie May died after a visit to the chiropractor left her with a torn artery in her neck, People confirms.
The 34-year-old model passed away in February just days after suffering a stroke, her family told People at the time. And a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Coroner now says the star died as a result of an injury sustained during a “neck manipulation by chiropractor.”
Los Angeles Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter tells People that a chiropractor shifted May’s neck, tearing her left vertebral artery. The tear blocked blood flow to May’s brain and caused the stroke.

On Thursday night (February 4) her family decided it was time to take Ms. May off of life support and she died peacefully shortly thereafter. Katie is survived by her seven-year-old daughter Mia, and friends have set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for her care.

The international market for Turkish music videos showed no signs of slowing down this week. netd müzik, a YouTube channel and YouTube network for Turkish-language music, maintained its top spot on the worldwide chart with nearly 111.5 million views. That was more than enough to stay ahead of LittleBabyBum. What an adorable duo! Katie Holmes took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a rare and candid photo with 8-year-old daughter Suri Cruise. In the pic, the cute twosome is seen playing dress up with some silly accessories. Sporting hot pink boas and orange sunglasses, the mother and daughter pair make funny faces at each other. "#humpDAAAY!!!!!" the "Dawson's Creek" alum captioned the pic. She also shared another shot of their hands covered in fake jewelry, captioning that one "Some serious bling #party city." While Tom Cruise continues to be Mia, Katie has been seen with Suri all over the place lately. The two recently went to Disneyland and also attended the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards together last month -- where they really seemed like they were having a blast! See more photos of them at that event in the gallery below: Suri turns 9 on April 18th; wonder what Holmes...

Molly continues to have Offspring trouble in this week's Extant double bill. Here's Holly's review...
This review contains spoilers.
1.7 More In Heaven And Earth; 1.8: Incursion
In this week’s double episode, Molly becomes a mama to be reckoned with (though she needs to work on her catchphrases), John is hit harder than ever before with the implications of playing God, and... well, all kinds of stuff. Episodes seven and eight, I presume, were meant to be aired in separate weeks, but presented together, they were a lot to deal with. Not that that’s a bad thing - we were treated to probably the greatest amount of reveals to date, not to mention a staggering amount of “what have we done?” Let’s dive in.
Really, I think it’s Katie Sparks’s ghost (for lack of a better term) that weaves the discrete stories of this week’s two hours together,...

On this week’s Graceland, Mike talked Bello into promoting him, Briggs and Charlie relived the past, Paige and Johnny played a betting game, and Jakes was Mia.
Now that Graceland‘s given the audience a decent introduction to each house member, the show decided it was time to dig a bit into some characters’ pasts, namely Briggs’s and Charlie’s. When an old target resurfaces, Briggs and Charlie go undercover as “Eric” and “Katie”, Aka aliases they’d adopted for an undercover mission during their first few years at Graceland. Sensing the sexual tension between the pair, Paige and Johnny place a bet on whether or not the two will hookup; the winner gets a free round of drinks for a week, courtesy of the loser’s wallet.

On October 15, 2000, Tiphany Adams, then a high-school senior in Northern California, was a passenger in a car that was hit head-on by a drunk driver going 130 mph. Tiphany and the two friends who were in the car with her were all pronounced dead at the scene... until an Emt detected life in Tiphany's body. She was airlifted to the nearest hospital and spent the next three weeks in a coma; when she came out of it, she learned that the injuries she'd sustained in the accident had left her permanently paralyzed from the waist down. Now, almost 12 years later, Tiphany is one of the inspiring stars of the new Sundance Channel reality show "Push Girls," which gives viewers an intimate glimpse into the challenges wheelchair-using women face. In this candid interview, Tiphany shares some of the life lessons she's learned about personal growth, self-awareness, and coping with other people's false assumptions -- and fears.
