- Allan Stanley was born on March 1, 1926 in Timmins, Ontario, Canada. He died on October 18, 2013 in Bobcaygeon, Ontario, Canada.
- Defenceman with the New York Rangers (1948-1953; 1954), Chicago Blackhawks (1955-1956), Boston Bruins (1956-1958), Toronto Maple Leafs (1958-1968) and Philadelphia Flyers (1968-1969). Won 4 Stanley Cups with the Maple Leafs. Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame with Johnny Bucyk and Frank Mahovlich.
