Today, multi-platinum selling singer, songwriter and producer, Moby, shares In My Heart remixes from acclaimed British DJ’s Carl Cox and Paul Woolford.
In My Heart is one of 15 iconic Moby tracks written or recorded in New York between 1994 – 2010 orchestrally reworked for his recent 20th studio album Resound NYC, released through Deutsche Grammophon.

On working with Carl Cox and Paul Woolford, Moby said, “‘one of my favorite things is to send multitracks of a song to legendary remixers like Paul and Carl, and then happily listen to the magic they’ve created’.”
Paul Woolford said, “I’ve been playing Moby’s records since the start in 1991 so when he asked me to rework In My Heart with Gregory Porter I immediately said yes. Furthermore, I wanted to contribute a Special Request version of the song that almost floats as a beatless ambient version, so there’s...

Fancy some horror? We've been taking a look at the discs of Ghoulies, The Burning, Psychomania and more...
“Have you ever heard a frog scream?”, the tag-line to George McCowan’s 1972 ecological horror Frogs (out now on Arrow Blu-ray) should have read. Indeed, for any of you readers that have ever been rudely awoken at 2am by the sound of a traumatised frog being gifted to you by your pet cat/furry psychopath, an amphibian cry of terror is probably the second worst sound there is (behind, of course, Kaiser Chiefs).

Sky 1's new music panel show Bring the Noise hasn't even begun yet, but already it's given us this rather good/disturbing clip of David Tennant really committing to character.
The Broadchurch star and Kaiser Chiefs' Ricky Wilson act out Elton John and Kiki Dee's 1976 video for 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart' - dungarees and formerly receding hairline included.
In the segment, Wilson takes on the role of John and Tennant does Dee, with panellist Nicole Scherzinger remarking: "David, you look pretty as a girl..."
Alongside music video spoofs, Bring the Noise comprises music trivia and performance battles.
Wilson hosts, with team captains Scherzinger and Tinie Tempah sitting alongside regulars Katherine Ryan and Joel Dommett.
Tennant is one of a number of guests to appear on the show, with Martin Kemp also appearing tonight, and Laurence Fox (Lewis), Mel C and Foxes popping up throughout the series.

'The Voice' star Kelsey-Beth Crossley fancies Ricky Wilson. The former 'Emmerdale' actress was chosen by the Kaiser Chiefs frontman for his team on the current series of the BBC talent show and she admits she does have a bit of a crush on her mentor. The people behind the BBC Twitter accounts had far too much fun today when they engaged in a battle of the puns.
The carnage began when the official account for The Voice tweeted the BBC One page, saying - in a nod to new coach Ricky Wilson - that they "predict a riot".
Things only deteriorated from there, with further reference to both the Kaiser Chiefs and Wilson's fellow new mentor Kylie Minogue.
Before long, titles by will.i.am and the Black Eyed Peas were also being tossed around willy-nilly, but it wasn't until the iPlayer account got involved with "What's new pussycat?" that Sir Tom Jones was evoked.
The accounts for EastEnders and Atlantis also got involved in the terrifying onslaught of puns, while the messages were bravely collated by Twitter user Wriggy.

The Voice UK star Ricky Wilson has revealed that he won over Sir Tom Jones with crude doodles on set.
The Kaiser Chiefs singer told The Guardian that he was a little starstruck when he first joined the BBC show, admitting that will.i.am appeared not to know who he was.
The Voice series three: 15 teasers about episode one
However, he revealed that he managed to bond with Jones by penning naughty pictures during filming.
"I've yet to meet a man who won't laugh at a picture of cock and balls," he joked.
Wilson also admitted that he was initially approached for the first series of The Voice - like fellow new coach Kylie Minogue - but "asked too many questions".
"At the time, I was a bit snobby about those kind of shows," he said. "But fact is, Saturday night, I'm not out in some bar in Hoxton.

The Voice UK's new coach Ricky Wilson has claimed that the show does not rely on novelty acts in an apparent swipe at rivals such as The X Factor.
Speaking at the series three launch, the Kaiser Chiefs frontman denied suggestions that the programme can lose momentum throughout its run.
"We've filmed a bit of it and I haven't felt the momentum slow down," he said. "In fact, if anything it's getting scarier and scarier and more critical.
"At first I cared when I turned for people, and then in the battles I cared even more, and then in the knockouts I cared even more. And now, it's a weird feeling. I didn't think it was going to go that far."
He added: "And we don't rely on the novelty of people being there that shouldn't be there later on. It gets to everyone's getting better and better, and...

The pair, who have joined the third series of the show alongside returning coaches Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am, revealed at the series three press launch that they have become emotionally invested in the acts.
The Kaiser Chiefs frontman explained: "I didn't know what to expect, no-one told me what to expect.

Sorry Bullet for my Valentine, not your kind of riot. Or you Kaiser Chiefs. Not the kind of ‘riot’ that has been name-dropped by the aforementioned, the resulting depiction was about as anarchistic as a particularly sharp prod in the post office.
No, these are the riots that defined the times. The times when fans went too far, artists maybe didn’t go far enough, and all round there was a crossing of wires, the mashing together of which spilled out into the surrounding environment, laying waste to all and sundry who got in the way. They say ‘Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned’? I say thee nay, ‘Hell hath no fury like people who have been waiting for their favourite band to come on for three hours, only for them to cancel’. Now that is a phrase worth remembering.
A seething mass of fans takes on something...

Despite their songwriter quitting the band not so long ago, Kaiser Chiefs have a new album out in March. I was informed via a link on Facebook; I have friends who have “liked” the Chiefs’ page, but they’re friends who’ve since moved onto genres like post-rock and dream-pop. Judging my circle of friends – a somewhat limited pool admittedly – the Kaiser Chiefs will find it harder than ever to flog their latest effort come March.
They’re not the only ones. Hard-Fi, the Pigeon Detectives, the Enemy, Razorlight, the Twang, Doves, Milburn and Reverend and the Makers have all either disbanded, or have been lost in the depths of obscurity. Bands that seemed to fit in with the indie crowd – like Klaxons or LCD Soundsystem – are struggling/no more, respectively. Even titans of that era, Bloc Party and Franz Ferdinand (above) are shadows of their former selves popularity-wise; creatively too,...

Thirty five years ago my world was well and truly rocked by what has become one of the best loved and successful concept albums of all time, Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of the War of the Worlds. I was introduced to Wayne's magnum opus when one of my junior school teachers took it upon himself to play us one side of the long playing record (no CDs in those days) in each of his lessons for four consecutive days and then getting us to talk about what we'd heard and translate this into our own words and pictures.

We'll be straight with you. When Ricky Wilson was announced as the fourth and final judge coach on The Voice UK, we could barely summon a shrug.
Don't get us wrong. We moshed around our Student Union with our pint of Snakebite to 'I Predict a Riot' in 2004 more than anyone. But after we'd strutted around the office in our gold hotpants and whipped out our best Locomotion for Kylie Minogue, the Kaiser Chiefs star's name was just a tiny bit underwhelming. Sorry, Ricky.
However, after a couple of weeks of following Ricky on Twitter, maybe we got it wrong. Maybe, he's actually going to be the best thing to ever happen to The Voice. Danny O'Dono-what-now?
Here are our five favourite Wilson tweets from recent weeks.
1. Best scrap that new Voice UK Judges' Houses twist.
I'm glad the Voice doesn't 'go to judges houses' cos I ain't got enough chairs.

A spokesperson revealed that although "everyone really liked" the 'Read All About It' rapper during casting discussions, they weren't sure whether he'd fit in once they took a "look at the mix" of judges.
"We're absolutely delighted that Ricky's on board and obviously Professor Green's great, everyone really liked him, but we've got to look at the mix [of judges] and on balance Ricky is the man for the job," the representative told DS.
Although they could not comment on reports claiming that Green was bumped for Kaiser Chiefs star Wilson for not being 'indie' enough, the spokesperson continued: "We considered a whole host of people, and Professor Green is a great artist in his own right."

Jessie J has said that she hopes Kylie Minogue is "tough" and "critical" on The Voice UK.
The 'It's My Party' singer - speaking on tonight's '80s-themed Alan Carr: Chatty Man - claimed that she had been "the most honest" coach on the BBC talent show's first two series.
"I think it's amazing that Kylie's doing it," she said. "I think it's going to be interesting to see what she brings.
"I hope she's tough though. I hope that she's critical, because that's what I want to be replaced with as well, because I felt like I was the most honest."
The pop star added that Minogue will be able to teach the Voice contests about "longevity".
"Every coach that's on the show teaches something different, which is why I think it should change up," she explained.

Ricky Gervais is close to signing a deal for an album by his 'The Office' alter-ego David Brent. The TV funnyman's character is known for his cringe-worthy sing-alongs, such as 'Free Love Highway', and although Ricky's had big money offers from major labels, he's planning to sign with Fiction records, home to credible acts such as Elbow, Snow Patrol, Kaiser Chiefs and The Maccabees. A source told The Sun newspaper: ''Fiction are currently front runners to release an album of David Brent songs. Not many bands can draw a crowd from so many generations. From 6 year olds in banners bigger than they are to teens with My Chemical Romance tattoos to middle age punks with Bad Religion jackets they are all being represented here today.
All Time Low are essentially a Blink 182 tribute band to the kids who were too young for the three piece. Their perky pop with guitars is entertaining enough although unoriginal. The more upbeat ‘Time Bomb’ and ‘Lost In Stereo’ go down best in a half empty stadium. Jack Barakat, per usual, lowers the tone with butt and your mum jokes and it just feels unnecessary and a tad creepy.
With a back catalogue like the Kaiser Chiefs it’s hard to not get a crowd singing. Ricky Wilson is on form running from corner to corner of the stage and up the frame work like a hyperactive child.

Vancouver rock duo Japandroids have edged out Nickelback and other bands in a contest put on by the National Hockey League's Vancouver Canucks to determine the team's new entrance music.
The band's song "The House That Heaven Built" will be played when the Canucks come onto the ice for two home games, replacing the previous tune used by hockey-challenged Irish quartet U2 and their song "Where The Streets Have No Name." Japandroids beat out Nickelback, Volbeat and Guns N' Roses among others for the claim to fame.
"There it is!" the team tweeted yesterday. "@Japandroids won Project NU2 - and by a long shot. #Canucks."
That said, given the Canucks' recent Stanley Cup playoff woes, Eric Clapton's "River of Tears" or Kaiser Chiefs' "I Predict a Riot" might have been more apt.
The band posted a 38-second YouTube clip this afternoon on their Facebook page showing the Canucks coming out to the song.

When Jeff Wayne released his The War of the Worlds album in 1978, the winds of fashion were not behind him. In a musical era defined by post-punk's minimalism and deconstructionism, a sprawling concept album based on a Victorian novel about a Martian invasion of Earth appeared a gargantuan folly.
The British public were not concerned with such critical niceties, and The War of the Worlds became a commercial phenomenon, taking root in the album chart for more than five years. Wayne has frequently returned to his rock opera, this year rerecording the album and producing this "next generation" tour.
His musical adaptation of Hg Wells's 1898 sci-fi classic has not aged particularly well, largely because it seemed slightly silly even a third of a century ago. However, this time-capsule missive from the era of Star Wars, Alien and Close Encounters of the Third Kind has acquired an engaging retro-futurist sheen.

A video of John Lennon singing "Imagine" stunned audiences at the Closing Ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics on Sunday.
The BBC's announcers said the footage was "exclusively remastered" by Yoko Ono for the event. The late Beatle appeared on an ethereal all-white background and worked through a good portion of the legendary song. His recording was immediately preceded by a snippet of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody."
Others who performed Sunday in the Olympic Stadium include Ray Davies of the Kinks, boy band One Direction and the Kaiser Chiefs (who performed The Who's "Pinball Wzard").
Madness also performed "Our House," and echoes of the song were repeated throughout the evening.

There are few shows as epic in scale as the Olympics opening ceremony - but if one dares to even try, it's the closing ceremony. And now, with the games beginning to wind down, speculation is turning to what the 2012 show will offer - and what fans really, really want to see.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the reunited Spice Girls will take the stage on Sunday for a massive show entitled "A Symphony of British Music." Also expected to play are legendary rock band The Who, chart-topping songstress Adele and theatrical rockers Muse. British singer Ed Sheeran is reportedly teaming with some combination of former Pink Floyd members as well, perhaps promising something special for fans of the band that remain so popular after all these years.
Also on tap is Ray Davies, who will likely continue to stop short of a full-on reunion of The Kinks but perform "Waterloo Sunset" solo,...

English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran is quickly becoming a hot music commodity and things are only getting better for the rising star. Talking to an Australian radio station, Sheeran claimed he’ll be performing Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here” with the band’s surviving members at the closing of the 2012 Olympic ceremonies in London.
Sheeran had previously been rumored to be joining The Who at the event.
"I'm playing the closing ceremony – which I think is kinda cool right?” he told Nova FM. “A lot of people think that I'm doing a song with The Who but I'm not -- I'm doing a song with Pink Floyd. I'm doing 'Wish You Were Here.'"
The news caused quite a stir … especially with Pink Floyd, who didn't take long to refute Sheeran's claim.

When it comes to Danny Boyle's Olympic Opening Ceremony, there are many things that we can look forward to: live animals, a sing-a-long led by Paul McCartney and perhaps most impressively, a hoard of Mary Poppinses slaying a 40-foot Lord Voldemort. But as any good party planner knows, a great celebration needs an epic soundtrack.
In June, Boyle's rumored 86-track Opening Ceremony playlist was leaked to The Telegraph, and it offers a sweeping survey of British music, from old classics -- Beatles ("She Loves You") and The Rolling Stones ("Satisfaction") -- to lighter fare -- Dizzee Rascal ("Bonkers"), Tinie Tempah ("Pass Out") and the Sugababes ("Push the Button").
Punk rock, a genre developed in the mid-1970s, gets an Olympic shout-out with samplings from the oeuvres of the Sex Pistols ("God Save the Queen") and The Clash ("London Calling"). David Bowie -- and his alter ego Ziggy Stardust -- ("Starman,...

If recent leaked documents are to be believed, the music and entertainment offerings at this year's Olympic ceremony in England are going to be demi godly; The Who, One Direction, Ed Sheeran, Fatboy Slim, Kaiser Chiefs, Jessie J, the remaining members of Queen, and Russell Brand are all mentioned as likely performers.
But despite some early back and forth, it's looking like one gig you can count on will be, of all things, a Spice Girls reunion.
There's been on-again-off-again speculation about this reunion for a few months now, but Victoria "Posh" Beckham seemed to confirm over the radio today that, yup, the Spice Girls will play two songs to close out the games.
