Grace Alwyn Ashworth is an award-winning writer/director known on the independent film circuit for making comedy short films. Raised in the North of England she is a graduate of the Northern Film School UK. In 2018 she set up UK film production company Found Films.
Her short film 'What Would Julie Do?', which features a cameo from Dame Julie Walters, has been collecting Best Comedy Awards on the festival circuit. Official Selections include; European Short Film Festival 2023, Women X Film Festival 2023, International Comedy Film Festival 2023 and Southport International Film Festival 2023.
Her upcoming short film 'GRIM' is set for release in Spring 2024. The film which focuses on suicide, was made with the support of mental health organisation We Are Hummingbird, and features original music from New York based musician DM Stith.
