If there's one thing that can make or break your New Year's Eve party, it's the tunes. So People tapped Las Vegas resident DJ Ruckus, 31 - who has collaborated with stars like Rev Run and Jermaine Dupri - to help you ring in 2015. Ruckus started headlining major clubs in Miami when he just was 16 and Lenny Kravitz and Kanye West are among his biggest fans. To get you pumped up before the ball drops, he picked tracks ranging from classics like Bon Jovi's "It's My Life" to some of the biggest hits of the year like Iggy Azalea's "Fancy.

Question: What's the song that all your little cousins will be dancing to at every family gathering for the next six months? Answer: "Celebrate (From 'The Penguins of Madagascar')" by Pitbull, which will be featured in -- you guessed it -- Dreamworks Animation's "The Penguins of Madagascar." The erratic arm gyrations and spazzy leg maneuvers from the youngest members of your clan will come thanks, in part, to Rare Earth's 1971 funk rock hit "I Just Want to Celebrate," from which Pitbull borrows liberally. The Latino star -- who will host and perform at the American Music Awards in November -- shows these flightless birds some swagger in the music video below. "Celebrate" will actually be on Pitbull's album "Globalization," due Nov. 24. "Penguins" will be in theaters on Nov. 26.

According to Kermit the Frog: It ain't easy being green. And no offense to our favorite Muppet but actually, it kind of is. Nowadays there are so many eco-friendly beauty products it's nearly impossible to avoid them. But in case you were looking to go the extra mile, really celebrate Mother Nature this month, we've rounded up a few of the brands with special Earth Day efforts. For example, Ashley Judd and Anthony Mackie's Rare Earth Masque collaboration with Kiehl's. All profits from sales of this skin care gem go toward Recycle Across America. Or Aveda's Light the Way candle. 100% of the purchase price from this floral-scented home good goes to support Global Greengrant Fund clean water...

Life on the road has taken its toll on Meat Loaf, who's now on his second new knee. But will this coming tour really be his last? He talks about high Cs, being signed for $6 and outwellying Wagner
A decade ago, Meat Loaf was invited on to Sky Sports' Saturday morning show Soccer Am. He didn't know anything about football, but being an actor by background, he did what actors do – he prepared. First, he knew he needed a club to support. "I thought, I don't want to go on and say I'm a Manchester United fan or a Liverpool fan – I'm gonna go down to the third level. And so I picked Hartlepool. I read about them and I found that the people of Hartlepool had hanged a monkey thinking he was a Frenchman, and I loved that story. I read everything I could about every game they played.

Having been just bumped up a week because of great word of mouth, David O. Russell's "Silver Linings Playbook" is one you're going to be hearing lots about over the next few weeks. And it's soundtrack packs a pretty decent punch too. Ranging from jazz to pop to classic cuts, the fourteen tracks featuring everything from a new cut by Brit starlet Jessie J to two tunes by jazz legend Dave Brubeck. Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash drop by with their excellent "Girl From The North Country," while Eagles Of Death Metal turn up the volume a bit with "Now I'm A Fool." Stevie Wonder keeps things smooth with "My Cherie Amour," while Rare Earth jam out with "Hey Big Brother." And oh yeah, Danny Elfman provided the score as well. The disc will drop in stores on November 19th, a few days about "Silver Linings Playbook" opens in limited release on November 16th,...

Hey guys, I have something great to share with you today! And yes, it has a loooooot to do with David O. Russell‘s upcoming movie! I’m actually here to give you the full tracklist from Silver Linings Playbook soundtrack, and to invite you all to check out the great video for the great song from this list, which comes from American rock band Alabama Shakes. It’s called Always Alright, and I just love it! Hope you’ll enjoy too!
But let’s go step by step. First, I will remind you that Silver Linings Playbook movie stars Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro, Jacki Weaver, Chris Tucker, Anupam Kher, Shea Whigham, John Ortiz and Julia Stiles, and is set to open on November 21st, 2012.
Then, I will remind you that this comedy drama centers on:
Pat Solatano (Cooper) has lost everything — his house, his job, and his wife.

Actress Chloe Sevigny has channelled her creativity into label designs for a special skin care range aimed at raising awareness about the importance of water protection and preservation.
The former Big Love star has teamed up with U.S. cosmetics brand Kiehl's for their Limited Edition Label Art series and has come up with the labelling for products like the Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque line, with all profits going to the Waterkeeper Alliance.
Sevigny, who hails from Darien, Connecticut, admits it was an easy decision to get involved with the water project because it's a cause close to her heart, according to BlackBook magazine.
She says, "I grew up on the water and saw the effects of pollution every day.

The 36-year-old actress created a limited-edition label for the Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque. A burst of Christmas pantos doesn't mean children's theatre is in good health. We urgently need more original work
So it's nearly Christmas again. I'm Ok if I keep my head down and get on with what I'm doing, but invariably someone will mention the flowering of children's theatre and I come over all "Bah, humbug". And I'm spitting feathers and dribbling bile. Again.
I'm getting so sick of people telling me there's a boom in theatre for children. Where is it? This is the time of year when theatre remembers the children's audience exists. There's panto, but, can we agree for a start that panto doesn't count, it is to theatre what karaoke is to music. I wouldn't be without it, I like a laugh as much as the next miserable old so-and-so, but everything about it says "Don't take me seriously. I want you to forget your daily lives,...

1. What ingredient makes Kiehl's Rare Earth Pore Minimizing Collection so fabulous? The fairly traded Amazonian white clay. The mineral-rich clay does wonders for your complexion, leaving skin more refined, with a matte finish. The fair trade means that the Kiehl's products are produced under practices that create opportunities for economically disadvantaged workers and minimize damage to the environment. 2. By most measures, hybrid cars are great--they save everyone's favorite non-renewable resource (gasoline) and they're quiet, too. But while these cars are oil-sippers, they guzzle rare earth metals--a class of 15 elements on the periodic table--during production. And just like gasoline, these elements are non-renewable.
Rare earth metals like neodymium, lanthium, and terbium are used in magnets for electric motors, hybrid car batteries, and even wind turbines. The Prius is the biggest user of rare earth metals in the world, with each motor using 2.2 pounds of neodymium and every battery housing 22 to 33 pounds of lanthium. As production of the Prius and other hybrid cars begins to swell in the next few years, manufacturers might find themselves without the elements needed to switch us to an electric vehicle economy. In the coming years, supply is expected to surpass demand of rare earth metals by 40,000 tons.

So much for free trade. China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is weighing a total ban on exports of rare earth metals, naturally occurring materials that are necessary for the production of next-gen batteries, hybrid cars, smartphones, and precision weapons technologies. Unfortunately for the rest of us, China mines 95% of the world's rare earth metals, mostly in Inner Mongolia, making the specter of an outright ban downright frightening.
The proposed ban would completely restrict any export of terbium, dysprosium, yttrium, thulium, and lutetium, while restricting other metals like neodymium, europium, cerium, and lanthanum to a combined export quota of 38,580 tons. That's not a lot for a planet full of starved economies trying to jumpstart their manufacturing sectors.
For China, of course, the move isn't about driving up prices or holding the world hostage, but about limited resources and soaring demand. China is pushing toward an energy efficient future on many fronts,...
