moved to Vancouver, Canada, where she continued her studies in media,
television and later on film.
After working in various capacities in television for over 5 years, Tandees returned to school. She graduated top of her class from the Vancouver Film School, and after a short period of working on various projects, registered her own company 'Fables Productions Inc.', developing various scripts and experimental projects. In 1997, Tandees and her partner registered another company 'Unavailable Pictures Ltd.' In 2000, Fables Productions and Unavailables were combined to create Filmatica Enterprises Inc., with Tandees as the sole owner of it.
Between the three companies, Tandees has created, written and produced over a dozen short and long format projects, mostly documentaries and experimentals. In 2002, Tandees created Impromptu, an unscripted comedy programming. The pilot of Impromptu, entitled The Audition, went on to win 3 Leo Award's nominations.
Since 2004, Tandees has joined forces with Sean Thomas from ChefThomas Productions, and together they are embarking on producing a series of feature length projects in various genres.
In her spare time, Tandees also writes and publishes articles.
