Check out this 12-second teaser from Chloe Noffke for the short horror film Tumbler. Oh! Forgot to tell you - Chloe is 13.
When young women start experimenting with making their own horror films, it reminds me of Emily Hagins who made her first feature-length zombie horror film at age 12 called Pathogen. Moms who encourage their daughters, like Megan Hagins and Dayna Noffke, are helping to raise innovative and creative filmmakers, especially in the unorthodox arena of horror. Yay moms!

The film chronicles the passion, creative drive, and supportive family of an extraordinary pre-teen girl following her filmmaking dreams: Emily Hagins is making a zombie movie. It.s feature-length, it.s bloody, and the zombies don.t run. But there.s one big difference between her film and every other zombie movie you.ve ever seen: Emily is twelve years old.
