Guy Dupuy(I)
- Actor
- Producer
- Executive
Guy Dupuy was born on August 13, 1979 in a small town in Haiti called
Hinche. He is the oldest of four siblings. In 1986, he migrated to the
United States along with his mother and his two sisters, his youngest
brother wasn't born until later. Guy spent the last 22 years of his
life living in Brooklyn, New York. As a child, he didn't know what he
wanted to be, so after high school he decided to attend LaGuardia
Community College pursuing a career in Mortuary Science. Half way
through the program, he realized that he didn't want to continue, he
wanted to do something else. So he took some time off from school to
figure out what he wanted to do. In the mean time he got a job
freelancing at Macy's Herald Sq. in the fragrance dept. While working
there he met Andre Edmunds. They got to know each other, and they
started exchanging ideas about business and movies. Guy got into
modeling; he did a few local jobs, and then decided to give acting a
try. He took acting and fencing classes at HB Studio in Manhattan. He
also trained under Tracey Moore Marable (the spirited actor). Tracey's
class is where he first experienced screen writing. All of the spirited
actors in her class had to write a short and cast each other. They all
had to perform in front of friends and family at a local theater. But
he didn't fully get his hands dirty until he collaborated with Andre
Edmunds for the first time co-writing "Shattered Rain Drops". Shattered
Raindrops is based on true events, and it's dedicated to friend of
Andre's, Cliter Hall who died from a drug overdose. Guy and Andre
collaborated again when a mutual friend of theirs, Mark Anthony Destin
invited them to co-write a new project with him entitled "Tick Tick
Tick". Tick, Tick, Tick is edgy and tackles every emotion in the human
body. Guy and Andre are about to collaborate for the third time on a
new project entitled "Five Contracts"
