Team Spidey of “Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends” is collaborating with the Fantastic Four’s very own The Thing — also known as Ben Grimm — in a special Rosh Hashanah-themed episode which is set to premiere on Disney on Sept. 15.
For this holiday episode The Thing, who was created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee, teams up with the kid-centric characters Miles Morales and Peter Parker to both save and celebrate this year’s Rosh Hashanah.
In the episode, Gobby (aka the Green Goblin) steals all of the bees, threatening the Rosh Hashanah tradition of celebrating the Jewish new year with apples and honey. In Variety’s exclusive clip, The Thing can be seen rejoicing with Team Spidey after they were able to stop Gobby from stealing all the honey in a beautiful moment of love and celebration.
“An UnBEElievable Rosh Hashanah” will premiere on Friday, Sept. 15 at 8:30 a.

Well, this is awkward timing.
During Marvel Animation & Family Entertainment’s panel at Disney’s D23 Expo on Friday evening, the company announced a new original preschool animated series for Disney Junior, Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends. Set to debut in 2021, it marks the first full-length Marvel series for Disney Junior.
The news comes at the end of a tumultuous week for the Spider-Man live-action movie franchise. As Deadline first reported, a standoff between Sony and Marvel/Disney has led to Marvel chief Kevin Feige exiting the Sony’s Spider-Man franchise and a looming exit of Spider-Man from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“Preschool kids already love Spidey, so they’ll be delighted to have Peter Parker thwipping across their screens in this new series” Cort Lane, Svp, Marvel Animation & Family Entertainment, said in the announcement of the new series.

Following out chat with producer Harrison Wilcox (which you can find Here), we had the chance to catch up with Megan Thomas Bradner to talk more about Iron Man: Rise of the Technovore. Megan has produced several of Marvel's Anime projects as well as the Iron Man: Armored Adventures animated series. Firstly, can you tell our readers a little about yourself? I’m a Taurus, enjoy cold weather and hate long walks on the beach, or anything involving the beach. Oh, wait, not that type of …. well, okay then. Hm, Alaska girl by way of Boston for school and then been Hell Ay after that for Hollyweird shenanigans. I’m a comic fan who was in the right place at the right time and parlayed that into job getting to play in one of the best sandboxes in entertainment. Did the Iron Man movies influence how this film came...

What exactly was you involvement with Iron Man: Rise of Technovore? Megan Bradner and I worked closely with Brandon Auman, who did a great job on the concept and outline. We worked with Sony and Madhouse on translations and the script all the way through to production, post and the English casting and dubbing. How would you sell the...
