Warning: This post contains spoilers from Outlander‘s Season 2 finale (and slight ones for Season 3).
Sing me a song of a lass that is gonna do it all over again.
Outlander‘s season finale on Saturday ended on a hopeful note: After learning that Jamie actually didn’t die on the field at Culloden like she’d feared, Claire knew that she had to go back through the stones to reunite with the love of her life. (If you missed the episode, rest assured: She didn’t immediately jump into the circle and disappear. These things take planning, after all.

Wamg has your free passes to the advance screening of Warner Bros. Pictures’ The Water Diviner.
Academy Award winner Russell Crowe (Gladiator) makes his directorial debut on The Water Diviner, an epic and inspiring tale of one man’s life-changing journey of discovery.
Crowe also stars in the film as Australian farmer Joshua Connor, who, in 1919, goes in search of his three missing sons, last known to have fought against the Turks in the bloody Battle of Gallipoli. Arriving in Istanbul, he is thrust into a vastly different world, where he encounters others who have suffered their own losses in the conflict: Ayshe (Olga Kurylenko), a strikingly beautiful but guarded hotelier raising a child alone; her young, spirited son, Orhan (Dylan Georgiades), who finds a friend in Connor; and Major Hasan (Yilmaz Erdoğan), a Turkish officer who fought against Connor’s boys and who may be this father’s only hope.

With an Oscar in his hands, presumably Jared Leto has his pick of movies, and it looks like he's eyeing former Will Smith gig "Brilliance." The Fresh Prince dropped out last month, but Leto is in early talks for the movie that's based on the novel by Marcus Sakey, set in "a world where a rare set of people are born with extraordinary abilities and are called 'brilliants.' At the center of the story is a federal agent with great hunting gifts who is drafted to track down a terrorist, another such brilliant who intends to start a civil war." Woo. Noomi Rapace is still attached in a supporting role with Julius Onah to direct. It’s Memorial Day today, and while there will probably not be any major movie news, at least we have new posters for a trio of new movies for ya to take a gander at today, to get to take a ganderin’ already. Up first, here’s another new poster for Brad Pitt and Marc Forster’s zombie actioner “World War Z”. The troubled production is getting some pretty good reviews by the handful of people who have seen it, which is surprising. I honestly thought this thing was dead in the water. The film co-stars Eric West, Matthew Fox, James Badge Dale, Mireille Enos, David Andrews, Elyes Gabel, David Morse, and opens June 21st. Meanwhile, Empire Online has two new covers for James Mangold’s “The Wolverine”, starring Hugh Jackman as the feral Canucklehead. In lieu of actual movie news (short on that today, alas), here’s the latest cover of Entertainment Weekly featuring a buff Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. You gotta wonder how much longer he can continue playing the mutant who never ages. Jackman is already 44, and although dude is in ridiculously good shape, if he can get another “Wolverine” movie made in, say, a few years, he’d be well into his late ’40s. Then what? A reboot, obviously. Don’t be surprise when you start hearing sites getting “exclusives” about a “Wolverine” reboot in, say, 3-4 years from now. You heard it here first! Until then, here’s the cover. And in case you missed it, here’s the latest trailer for the movie: “The Wolverine” stars Hugh Jackman, Brian Tee, Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Rila Fukushima, James Fraser, Tao Okamoto, Hal Yamanouchi, and is directed by James Mangold.

So when can you expect that first trailer for James Mangold’s “The Wolverine”? According to Mangold himself, you can expect the first teaser trailer on March 26th. The film is set to open on July 26, 2013, which gives Mangold and company about 4 months (give or take) to do post-production work on the movie. I wonder if that’s enough time, given the film’s big-budget comic book pedigree? And is Fox rushing this thing into theaters before it’s ready? I guess we’ll find out. Until then, here’s a new pic from “The Wolverine”, starring Hugh Jackman as the clawed one, looking like a man caught between a pond and some baddies off-screen. Very minimalist and gets right to the point. Or, er, points. Based on the celebrated comic book arc, The Wolverine finds Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed. The film also stars Brian Tee, Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Rila Fukushima, James Fraser, Tao Okamoto, Hal Yamanouchi, and is...

You’ve already seen oodles of set images from the upcoming James Mangold-directed comic book movie (click here and here if you missed them), now check out your first official look at Hugh Jackman in “The Wolverine”, posing shirtless and bearing those wicked trademark claws of his against what looks like a religious (Japanese temple?) backdrop. Our hero apparently isn’t sporting his trademark hair just yet, though. The film, based on the Frank Miller/Chris Claremont “Wolverine” mini-series from the ’80s, will find ol Logan in Japan getting into all sorts of nasty business with mutant Samurai types and romancing lovely (and forbidden) Japanese ladies. That’s Japan for ya — guy shows up with claws shooting out of his knuckles, and it’s all, “You can’t date my daughter, you have to leave, etc, etc.” “The Wolverine”, also staring Brian Tee, Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Svetlana Khodchenkova,...

Only one Australian feature film has so far made it into official selection for the 69th Venice International Film Festival.
Disaster-shark film Bait 3D, directed by Kimble Rendall, will screen out of competition at the prestigious film festival, it was announced overnight.
The film sees a group of shoppers trapped in an underground supermarket after a tsunami strikes the coast which has sent a school of sharks into the building.
The film, produced by Arclight Films, was shot on the Gold Coast at Village Roadshow Studios in 2010. It stars Xavier Samuel, Julian McMahon, Sharni Vinson and Dan Wylie. It will be distributed in the Us by Anchor Bay Films.
The Out of Competition section is billed as ‘important works by directors already established in previous editions of the festival.’
While no Australian feature film made it into competition in the prized Venezia 69 program, two Australian short films will screen in competition in the Orizzonti program,...

Sleeping Beauty Emily Browning Nude Scenes Video. The Sleeping Beauty (2011) Emily Browning nude scenes video from the Julia Leigh directed film showcases what I assume to be all or the majority of the scenes in the film where Emily Browning is in a state of underdress. Sleeping Beauty‘s plot synopsis: “Death-haunted, quietly reckless, Lucy (Emily Browning) is a young university student who takes a job as a Sleeping Beauty. In the Sleeping Beauty Chamber old men seek an erotic experience that requires Lucy’s absolute submission. This unsettling task starts to bleed into Lucy’s daily life and she develops an increasing need to know what happens to her when she is asleep.”
We previously posted the Sleeping Beauty (2011) Movie Trailer.
Sleeping Beauty also stars Rachael Blake, Michael Dorman, Mirrah Foulkes, Ewen Leslie, Nathan Page, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Henry Nixon, Joel Tobeck, Chris Haywood, Les Chantery, James Fraser, and Lauren Orrell.
