[on reacting to the drowning death of his band-mate Esbjorn Svensson]: I didn't know what to do. It was very hard to find the joy in playing again. A lot of friends called me to offer me gigs, but it didn't feel right. I was kind of tired playing jazz music. Johan [Lindstrom] called me and asked me how I was. Said maybe we should meet and play. I took my bass to his place and he played acoustic guitar. It felt really good and we started to work out some songs. 'Song for E' was one of the first that we wrote.
