If it were up to us, "Project Runway" would never be "out," it would just play on a loop 24/7/365.
Sadly, Season 14 will say auf wiedersehen on Thursday, November 5th, so now seems like a good time to take stock and rank the previous 13 seasons, with the expectation that the 2015 season will probably fall somewhere in the middle of the pack once it's done. (Tim Gunn "hated" Season 14, but there have been worse.) Every season of PR is a precious, unique little rhinestone, but, like the judges, we have our favorites -- and now it's Our turn to be biased.
So here's our very subjective but still definitive worst-to-best ranking, which may only be challenged by a glare from Nina Garcia, an eye roll from Michael Kors, a "make it work" from Tim Gunn, or an "out" from Heidi Klum.

We can quibble about the name Project Runway: All-Stars, since I don't see prized contestants like Nick Verreos or Jillian Lewis in this lineup, but the second installment of Lifetime's alumni competition is probably going to be entertaining all the same. Truly. There are enough wild cards at play here -- each equipped with a wildly different skill type and level -- to make the season worth a run. The only problem? We need to rank which of these all-stars is destined for success. So here, just two days shy of Thursday's premiere, my predictions for the rankings of Project Runway All-Stars' new season. Spoiler: Pretty sure I made it work, guys.
13. Peach Carr
Now, I am a human being, so I love Peach Carr, her constant catchphrasing (Loved when she said that her skirt wasn't short enough to "show the good china?), and her ritzy suburban Chicago flair.

Now that we're headlong into an enjoyable season of Project Runway, it's time to play my favorite game: Ranking Years of Hotties. Heidi Klum's sartorial showdown may be a much different show now than when it premiered in 2004 (!), but the series' consistently hot male contestants remain a hallmark. Compare your listings with mine, gents.
10. Wesley Nault
His stay on season five was short-lived (only two episodes), but the unassumingly chic Wesley Nault left a favorable impression using two key items: 1) his underrated tablecloth/cups ensemble from the season-opening Gristedes challenge, and 2) his passion for wearing little shorts. Look at them. They are the littlest. And he is leggier than Juliet Prowse, thank God. After the show, he enjoyed a personal and professional partnership with fellow season five vet Daniel Feld.
9. Jay Sario

Lifetime is bringing back some of the most memorable "Project Runway" contestants of all time for "Project Runway All Stars," which premieres Thursday, Jan. 5 on the network. Of course, it's also bringing back a few of the less-memorable as well, but the mix of contestants for the new series is quite interesting.
A couple of familiar faces you won't be seeing are host Heidi Klum, mentor Tim Gunn or judges Nina Garcia and Michael Kors. Instead, they'll be replaced by an interim "All Star" cast comprised of host Angela Lindvall (supermodel), mentor Joanna Coles (Marie Claire editor-in-chief), and fashion designer judges Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman.
The main attractions are "Project Runway" favorites like Austin Scarlett (Season 1, 4th place), Kara Janx (Season 2, 4th place), Rami Kashou (Season 4, runner-up) and Mondo Guerra (Season 8, runner-up). Then there are the less-admired contestants like Gordana Gehlhausen (Season 6, 4th place) and Kenley Collins (Season 5, second...

Lifetime Heidi Klum on the Ninth Season Premiere of “Project Runway.”
Zomg. It’s Season 9 of Project Runway. We’ve got hillbilly truckers. We’ve got pretty, pretty princesses. We’ve got more rompers than you can shake with a Mood tape measure.
We begin with 20 designers but only 16 will be in. Four are booted before it even begins! Will there be a Santino Rice? A Daniel Vosovic? An Uli Herzner (what, you don’t remember her fabulous print/pattern sense for hot climates?...

First, The CW announces an all-star version of America’s Next Top Model. And now, Lifetime tells us that we’ll see some of our favorite reality stars back on an all-star edition of Project Runway?! Is 2011 just a year-long Christmas?! Because this is quite a gift to us pop-culture junkies: In addition to a ninth season of the Emmy-nominated fashion competition, the network will air Project Runway All Stars, eight one-hour episodes featuring previous contestants. This makes it slightly different than the two-hour Project Runway: All-Stars Challenge, which saw the return of players Jeffrey Sebelia, Santino Rice, Daniel Vosovic,...

Project Runway has announced that season 9 of the fashion reality-competition will run this summer, but the even bigger news from Lifetime was the news that another Runway All Stars is in the works. The last time the show’s best-of-the-best faced-off was in 2009, when season 2′s Daniel Vosovic won the Project Runway All Star Challenge. The network is planning eight one-hour episodes of All Stars, but an airdate has yet to be determined.

A new article pegs Daniel Radcliffe’s net worth at around $45 million, which is slightly more than Prince Harry and Prince William. It’s darned impressive, but are they really taking into account the ridiculous wealth that Prince William possesses through land titles and such?
So over the weekend the police were called to a laser tag arena in Canada in response to a complaint that 16-year-old Justin Bieber assaulted a 12-year-old patron during a match. It sounds awful on the surface, except further reports surfaced that Bieber just pushed past the kid when he got cornered in the match, like anyone would. Then even further reports surfaced that the 12-year-old called Bieber a faggot. So now the headline has gone from “Justin Bieber assaults 12-year-old boy” to “Bieber victim of anti-gay bullying.”

Bravo is in the process of developing a new reality series with Project Runway Season 4 contestant Chris March, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The untitled series will follow March and his “crew of fashion misfits” as they cater to their fabulous clientele, which includes the likes of Madonna and Meryl Streep (and I thought he only designed for drag queens?).

Cheryl Cole decided to stay with the reality TV theme on tonight’s X Factor show and donned a stunning gown from former Project Runway star Daniel Vosovic.
The 29 year old designer was a finalist in season 2 of the TV show and went on to win the Project Runway All-Star Challenge, which aired on August 20, 2009.
The off the shoulder, black lace dress is from Vosovic’s 2011 Spring Summer range and yesterday the designer himself tweeted:
Yay!!! Cheryl Cole is wearing look #24 on the Live X-Factor show tmrw (Oct 9th) in the UK… go young designers!!
Cheryl completed the outfit with black ankle boots from Valentino and jewellery by De Grisogono.
Fellow female judge Dannii Minogue opted to show off a stunning off white dress by Melbourne-based design house, J’aton Couture.
Pictures to follow, but in the meantime, who do you think won the fashion war tonight?...

(S07E11) In a 'Project Runway' first, not only do we have one quitter, we have two. In the first fifteen minutes, Maya realized that she's still too young to be ready to show for the finale. I found it weird because the show likes putting a mix of designers together, including people right out of school like Daniel Vosovic or Jillian Lewis. While Maya may have been using other designs as influence during the show, she would have had several months to find inspiration before the finale show. With that being said, I respect her decision and wish her the best.
The second quitter comes from one of the models. Valeria gets a high end gig. As a model, that is probably the best decision. She had moderate exposure on a television show, and managed to get a gig from a high end clientele. Take the money and run.

Daniel Vosovic came out as champion of the champions when he grabbed the winning title on "Project Runway: All-Star Challenge". The special edition that was aired prior to the sixth season of "Project Runway" crowned the season 2 runner up who beat the show's other former contestants such as Sweet P, Santino Rice and Uli Herzner with his athletic line.
"I feel so much more confident. I know the woman that I'm dressing and my point of view is much more clear this time around," Vosovic commented on his victory. "Hearing people who have been in this industry for a collective amount of 50, 60 years - this is some experience that we're taking about. To have these industry people say, 'Daniel, we're proud of what you created and we want to see more of you,' that hit it home for me."
Vosovic created an elegant black-and-white ensemble that helped him winning the competition.

Last night "Project Runway" premiered on its new network with its highest-ever first-night ratings -- a 3.3 household rating -- but before the new season got underway, Lifetime TV aired a one-time-only, two-hour "Project Runway: All Stars" with some of the top designers from past seasons, including Santino Rice, Jeffrey Sebelia, Chris March, Sweet P, Korto Momolu, who finished second, and the champion and winner of the $100,000 prize: Daniel Vosovic. The morning after his win, Et spoke with Daniel about how he will spend his cash, and if Nicole Kidman will be wearing his winning design on the red carpet for the premiere of her upcoming movie. Et: Congratulations. Does this win mean more than it would have to win your season, since the competition was the best of the best? Daniel Vosovic: I will be honest; it felt really good. Like you said, the bar was raised with this group and this challenge.

Well. After 210 minutes of Runway-branded television last night, you'd think we'd come away from things with an associate's degree in design, whiny confessional skills, and leggings. Instead we got the following: commericals assuring us that Sandra Bullock will have orange hair in an awkward upcoming movie, and confirmation during the All-Star Challenge that Daniel Vosovic has always been Nina Garcia's favorite (Uli was robbed! I am always right.). We also learned that zany-eyed designers who "don't sketch" their designs ahead of time always get cut -- this time, in the first episode.

On Thursday's Project Runway All-Stars Challenge, the competition came down to a nail-biting finale between Korto Momolu and Daniel Vosovic -- both runners-up in their respective seasons. But in the end, Vosovic earned first place [1] for his athletic-inspired collection. And while Momolu didn't claim the prize money, she did earn the judges' praise -- especially for the embellished black dress she created in the final restaurant challenge. Calling separately, the designers weighed in on the competition –- and shared their thoughts about facing off against each other. --Brian Orloff On the Winner Daniel: "The exact moment [they said my name] was bittersweet only because Korto is a very good friend and I had gotten to know all the designers very well that past week. The real moment [of impact] for me was standing on the runway alone and hearing Diane von Furstenberg's [critique] that "the dress will start your career." She knows. She's been there. She's done that.

Fashion is subjective. We know that. Even loud-mouthed, egomaniacal Santino knows that. But some decisions just make no freakin' sense, no matter how many ways you twist, turn, and contort your brain trying to find some semblance of a logical explanation. Last night's Project Runway: All Star Challenge was one of these cases. As the episode inched to a close and only Daniel Vosovic and Korto Momolu — both runners-up in their respective seasons — were left standing on the runway, I could not imagine how the feisty mom with a passion for bold prints could not be crowned the winner. Her mini-collection showed range, polish, and both a keen understanding and appreciation for how clothing should fit a woman's body. It was stunning. Daniel's designs, on the other hand...I just don't know what to say. I was a big fan of the guy when he was on season 2, but...

The wait is over! Project Runway finally emerged on Lifetime Thursday with an epic block of programming that lasted more than three hours. And despite the much ballyhooed network flip and the relocation from New York to Los Angeles, deep exhale, the new Runway felt pretty much like the old one. All About the All-Stars: What a treat to catch up with Sweet P., Daniel Vosovic, Chris March, Uli, Mychael Knight, season 3 champ Jeffrey and Korto! Also, Santino Rice brought his typical braggadocio and baggage. Sure, that Tim Gunn impression is classic but without Andre as the brunt of the joke, the shtick was a little played-out ... sort of like his collection of metallic-inspired garments. In the challenge, the eight designers had to create a mini-collection of three looks. And true to form, a surprise was added in the eleventh hour when they had to fashion a fourth outfit from...

The biggest Project Runway competition of the night? Whether Lifetime's inaugural cast could match the sheer fun of the All-Star Challenge, which pitted eight Bravo-era returnees—including Daniel Vosovic, Korto Momolu and a double-barrel blast of bad boys Santino Rice and Jeffrey Sebelia—against one another. Thank goodness, Tim Gunn was there, too. Competing for the chance to design for Nicole Kidman, a $100K prize and the opportunity to destroy a restaurant dining room, the pros showed at the very least they all still know how to make watchable TV. And the new L.A. crew, which includes a budding neurosurgeon turned designer, an emotional former crystal meth addict and...

Since we're still more than a month away from the return of Project Runway, I thought now might be a good time to share a little PR scoop that recently came my way. I haven't confirmed this elsewhere, but I have good reason to trust my source knows of what they speak.
By now, every PR fan knows that show returns on August 20th, but I'm told that a week or two before the show debuts on Lifetime, the network plans to pump up excitement for the return with a special All-Star Challenge featuring past designers.
My source says those confirmed to participate so far include Chris March, Jeffrey Sebelia, Michael Knight, Daniel Vosovic, Santino Rice, Kenley Collins, Sweet P, and Korto Momolu. Others might also participate.

While the number of gay/bisexual characters on scripted television has, at best, held steady over the past decade (and doesn’t exactly represent the diversity of gay men in the real world), it’s a different story when it comes to the depiction of gay men on reality television. Indeed, along with the explosion of reality programming has come a dramatic increase in the numbers and types of gay and bisexual men appearing on our television screens.
From the groundbreaking appearance of Pedro Zamora on The Real World: San Francisco to the current seasons of The Amazing Race, Survivor: Tocantins, and Make Me a Supermodel, there is a breadth of gay men that is quite frankly astounding.
In fact, there have now been so many gay and bisexual men on reality television that we decided to let AfterElton.com readers choose their favorites of all time. Here...

"We don't have a Christian," says Tim Gunn, "Project Runway's" mentor and style guru, as he considers the latest crop of scissor-happy designers and harks back to last season's wunderkind and breakout star, Christian Siriano, 22.
"Runway's" fifth season, still in production and returning to the airwaves this week, has 16 new contestants, none of whom has grabbed Gunn by his elegant lapels in quite the same way.
"This season has an entirely different DNA," says Gunn. "They're from different parts of the country and their personalities are so potent...

'Project Runway's' Tim Gunn talks about Christian's win, 'Pr's' sourpuss and Tim's own 'diva moment'
Twelve hours after "Project Runway's" fourth season wrapped up, I was on the phone with Tim Gunn, the mentor of the aspiring designers on the Bravo reality show. We talked about Christian Siriano’s win and the collections of the other finalists.
Tim also talked about Season 5 of "Project Runway," whether his own show, "Tim Gunn's Guide to Style," is coming back, and he told a jaw-dropping story about what contestant Victorya Hong made him do in Mood Fabrics.
That story left me gasping -- but then he told a better one about his "diva moment" on the set of "Guide to Style." Settle in with a cup of coffee, "Runway" fans -- Tim Gunn's got hot, fresh gossip for you!
[By the way, my comments are in bold, Gunn's are in regular type.]
Tim Gunn: “What a season, huh?"
Mr: Definitely. I was blown away by the final collections.
Tg: “It was a staggering, staggering season. You know something,...
