While most cycles of America’s Next Top Model have its standout moments -- including Tyra Banks yelling at Tiffany (4), everything Jade said (6) and the pendulum runway (14) -- they all have the always epic, always dramatic and always hilarious makeover meltdowns.
Like clockwork, two or three episodes into the cycle, Tyra gathers the aspiring models around to tell them about their Tyovers. And what starts with cheers and excitement, usually ends in bitter tears and resentment. (In the contestants’ defense, who thought beard weave was a good idea?) And cycle 23 is no different when host Rita Ora surprises the girls with their new signature looks.

Over the course of 22 cycles of America’s Next Top Model, host Tyra Banks has taught a fleet of young, ambitious models -- as well as audiences at home -- everything they need to know about modeling, “from H2T.” (That’s “head to toe” for the uninitiated.)
Now that the show’s been revived by VH1 -- the long-running CW reality competition was canceled after cycle 22 in 2015 -- it’s time for a refresher course on the vivacious language the show has generated since it first aired in 2003. As you ready your best poses for the premiere of America’s Next Top Model, now hosted by Rita Ora, brush up on some of the show’s best terms and phrases -- plus some from the new judging panel!

RuPaul's Drag Race is a competition based on the unbeatable criteria of charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent, but a quick glance at the show's contestant history proves that deadly good looks may be a part of the package. And sometimes the package is part of the deadliness. Ow-ow! Cue the chicken laugh, Detox.
In a toast to the sexy dudes behind the mascara and sequins, let us count down the ten hottest men in the history of RuPaul's Drag Race. Bifocals ready, because the library of sexiness is new open.

It's time to meet Peter's boyfriend (Colin Ferguson) on Happily Divorced.
News
In a surprising development, Lifetime has cancelled Drop Dead Diva. Deadline speculates, that the decision might have come out of a desire to pursue more "edgy" fare at Lifetime — you know, like The Client List. Wait, does "edgy" mean getting hot male guest-stars undressed under flimsy excuses? That's a pretty compelling argument for Lifetime getting more "edgy." Too bad we won't find out where Drop Dead Diva would go from where it left off.
TNT has ordered a pilot starring Rebecca Romijn and Jon Tenney of The Closer and Major Crimes. King & Maxwell will focus on a pair of former Secret Service agents who become private investigators.
Mad Men and Desperate Housewives alum Mark Moses will appear on Blue Bloods, TV Guide reports. Moses will play a bigoted talk radio host who challenges the police's commitment to protecting the first amendment.

Like sands through the hourglass, another manufactured Bachelor soap opera comes to an end tonight, and right on time, that old familiar question popped into all of our heads at once: "Why do we care, again?"
Well, first of all -- because it's shallow and outrageous and fun. And also because this season introduced us to the best reality TV villain who thinks she can model and says insane things on the regular since Jade of America's Next Top Model: Courtney! And she's taking no prisoners tonight, unless you count Ben's Neil Lane engagement ring.
As you ready your drinks, loins and remaining brain cells for tonight's massacre, take a gander at these interesting pre-finale bits:...

Pop quiz, class. Pencils up, only one question.
I made it multiple choice because, y'know, I care and stuff.
The America's Next Top Model fragrance, which is set to launch at the end of cycle 17, will smell like ___________________.
a. Booty tooch sweat, Nicole from cycle five's lost Red Bull, and the pee that Robin let out in cycle one during the snake photo shoot.
b. An empty bottle of Mr. Jay's hair dye that's been sitting in the garbage for weeks, the remnants of a drain in Andre's salon that hasn't been cleaned in a while, and the tears of wayward models from sea to shining sea.
c. The crushed dreams of stardom from everybody associated with Shedding for the Wedding, Fly Girls, H8R, Blonde Charity Mafia, High Society, Farmer Wants a Wife, Plain Jane, and Stylista.
d. Girlicious.
I'll give you a second to think.
Pencils down.
The correct answer is.

What do you get when you cross Latoya Jackson, the Kardashian sisters, and drag impersonations of an icon no longer with us?
Give up?
Me, too and apparently so has Top Model, as "Latoya Jackson" proved once and for all that the show has pretty much bailed on all sense of fashion legitimacy this go around. I don't know why I keep expecting America's Next Top Model: All-Stars to turn things around and become a beacon of couture realness, but once again, the reality in this reality competition series took over and we were subjected to an episode even loopier and tackier than usual.
It's not that the show was poor in idea. I don't mind the Kardashians stopping by, as they're at least involved in the fashion industry and they've been famous for long enough to where they could impart some decent knowledge how to handle yourself in the public eye.

Jade Thompson was crowned the champion of Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model series seven tonight. The 20-year-old defeated rival Juste Juozapaityte after a final catwalk showdown, where they got training from Daisy Lowe and America's Next Top Model star Miss J. Host and head judge Elle Macpherson claimed that they selected Thompson as the winner because of her "special kind of beauty". "This show is about finding a special kind of beauty. A unique modern kind of beauty... and that is what Jade is," said Macpherson. Speaking after her victory, the young Stoke-on-Trent model said: "I can't believe it. I'm so happy. I'm numb. I didn't even cry at first. I just feel like all the hard work I've put into it... it's paid off." Thompson's impressive prize includes (more)...

America’s Next Top Model has gone the Top Chef route and gone All-Star on viewers.
Because it is Antm, the returning contestants were a mixed batch of talent and infamy. Is Lisa D’Amato really an All-Star or do they just want to bring back the girl who peed in a diaper? The ultimate icing on the drama cake would have been Jade Cole from Cycle 6 coming back, but she rejected the offer. Drats!
The enthusiasm of the live audience and the returning contestants was really infectious, though, so much so that I enjoyed "Nicki Minaj" more than any other Antm episode in recent cycles.
It was also really fun to see some of my favorite contestants like Bre, Laura, Brittany, Sheena, Isis, and Allison back in the game.It didn’t seem like they shared my sentiment, however.. Aside from a few happy faces, most of the models...

It should come as a surprise to no one that the first words spoken in this new America's Next Top Model preview are Tyra announcing, "I did it!"
For there is one immutable law in Top Model land, and it is this: It's all about Tyra. Always.
But this time around, I can't blame our ever-crazed host for giving herself a little pat on the back, even in the very first second of the very first promo, because Antm cycle 17 looks like it's gong to be that good. Except for a few glaring exceptions (no Jade?!), the cast is chock-full of the best, bitchiest and beautiful-est eliminated models from cycles past. Those who caused the show's biggest drama, those we still think got robbed, and those who made us laugh every time they opened their mouths -- every group, and almost every cycle (even 1 and 2!) is accounted for. I'm not...

When "America's Next Top Model" announced that the next cycle would be an "All-Stars" round, we couldn't be more pleased. In fact, we wondered what took so long?
The show taped a fashion show in Los Angeles on Wednesday (May 11) with all the judges and, hello, the models who are returning to battle it out for what they believed was theirs in the first place.
We're most surprised that delusional, but hilarious Jade Rodan from Cycle 6 wasn't included. And we're sad to see that they've invited "Why the long face?" Alexandria Everett from the current Cycle as she was extremely annoying and we haven't been able to enjoy her elimination long enough.
Who are we excited to see again? We thought Cycle 11's transgender contestant Isis King could stand another chance. And we're happy we'll be able to see if farm girl Laura Kirkpatrick has become worldlier since Cycle 13. And finally,...

There are so many reasons to thank you, Ty-Ty. You’ve provided us with reality ridiculata for 16 straight cycles. You call them cycles. And you created an “all-star” cycle inviting back previous “models” who will once again fight to “win” the title of America’s Next Top “Model.” I simply cannot wait to watch these “human beings”! But I have another reason to thank you: According to the all-stars line-up circulating the Web, you actually recruited some of my suggested alums! (Though The CW is not making any announcements yet.) That’s right: Cycle 4′s Brittany Brower, Cycle 5′s Lisa D’Amato,...

" Survivor " has done it. So has " Top Chef ." Now, " America's Next Top Model " is getting its own all-star edition. "America's Next Top Model All-Stars" was announced Thursday by creator/head judge Tyra Banks . The show, debuting this fall, features 14 memorable contestants from 16 past cycles, including the most current season. Check out the 14 contestants in the gallery below: With three "mean girls" Bianca (Cycle 9), Dominique (Cycle 10) and Alexandria (Cycle 16) all living under one roof, there will be catfights galore. They'll surely go head-to-head with the outspoken Bre (Cycle 5), Sheena (Cycle 11) and Angelea (Cycle 14). Meanwhile, expect conservative Shannon (Cycle 1) and Southern sweetheart Laura (Cycle 13) to play mediators. As of course, Lisa (Cycle 5) will bring the laughs. However, there were some obvious omissions, including fabulous plus-sized model Toccara (Cycle 3), Jade, the self-proclaimed "undiscovered supermodel" (Cycle 6), and Jael, the edgy girl with rocker flair (Cycle 8). With some of the contestants pushing 30, the winner likely...

In "Franca Sozzani," the models shot in exotic Morocco with a camel! Let’s break it down.
The Challenge:
The girls first arrive at Marrakech, which looks like an amazing Arabian Nights-esqe backdrop, complete with snake charmers and pretty cute monkeys.
The girls are treated to delicious little treats and taken to a local Marrekech designer with Andre Leon Talley where they’re promptly asked to walk in haute couture outfits. The designs are earthy and reminiscent of the desert; perfect for Marrekech.

Hindsight is 20/20.
It’s the second week in a row that Antm has mentioned John Galliano. Obviously, it was filmed before the Galliano fallout, but still, I’m surprised producers haven’t cut offending remarks about praise to him. In actual show news, the girls finally meltdown at their impending makeover doom, and inevitable drama ensues! Let’s break it down.
The Makeover:
It’s makeover time... dum dum dum! The girls get an extra dose of anxiety when Tyra sends them a little preview of the makeovers they will be getting without specifying who will be subjected to which makeover. The girls freak out over “manly” and “short Dutch boy” and, really, who wants to be a short Dutch (female) boy?
Brittany does! And she looks fabulous, too! Miss J freaks out over poor, sweet Jaclyn by threatening her with a razor, although she takes it in stride. Psyche!

The sexy blonde with 32E boobs has made it past the initial auditions for the show and is hoping to feature in the televised rounds which start this Saturday night.
Head judge on the show Andrew Lloyd Webber is concerned that Amy is a little sexy for the show. He says:
“I’m not sure if she looks like a girl from a farm”.

Recently on America's Next Top Model, the girls were in bikinis, jumping off cliffs and rolling in the sand with supermodel Marisa Miller. I do like the tips she gave the girls on making a Barbie toe and keeping good posture, but here is some more insight for shorter girls on showing your body as a model. A shorter girl should be targeting commercial print modeling agencies for editorial, catalog, print ads, and also "parts modeling" jobs. Parts modeling is when you use your whole body or its "parts"--hands, feet, legs--to work with brands. You can...

During the Petite Ninja Warriors episode of America's Next Top Model this week, the girls had a go-see challenge. In groups of two, the eight hopefuls were sent to five different castings in a four hour span, in an effort for each of them to live the life of a real model.
This challenge inspired me to share a Go-see 101 with you, since the show didn't go into detail on the real go-see "day in the life." There is more to a go-see than just showing up!

This week was all about standing tall, on the runway and in front of the camera. The girls faced their runway challenge with pride, even after learning they would have to walk with giraffe models. Sundai especially surprised me with her confident take-no-sh*t expression. Seventy-two years ago, Seabiscuit, the smaller-than-average thoroughbred racehorse, became a champion on the Santa Anita Track. Last night at the Santa Anita, the pint-size hopefuls of America's Next Top Model Cycle 13 posed seductively with a horse.
The theme of the shoot was confusing. The CW website stated the models were to "give Lady Godiva a run for her money," and I doubt I was the only viewer who expected the girls to be posing with chocolate or candy in their mouths. It was only when I made a video on YouTube with my thoughts on the show...

As one of the shortest models working in NYC, I do not live and die by America's Next Top Model, but the underdog appeal of Cycle 13's contestants appealed to me. It isn't easy being a short model even without Tyra's photo challenges, and overall I think the girls cry way too much on the show. However, watching the show's premiere and first episode inspired many questions from me, such as: How much could this short model stampede affect the fashion world, if at all? Will Tyra involve any print modeling aspects into the show? When the girls are kicked of,...

America's Next Top Modelis back for cycle 13, premiering Sept. 9 on the CW -- can I get two snaps, a smile with your eyes, and a 'stomp it out, gurrl?' And from what we've already heard, this cycle is shaping up to become either the most Tyrifically ferocious yet, or the biggest Tyranosaurus-sized wreck. Before it kicks off, how is this cyle adding up so far? -Things started off on the right stiletto when complete chaos erupted at a NYC audition earlier this year with a stampede of hundreds of models. Yes, Miss Jay, they were running fiercely. +3 -It's the first cycle where Tyra is actively seeking girls under 5'7″, attempting to make another point (now that she finally got her plus-sized winner out of the way) that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. No, Tyra, you'll never become the Oprah of the fashion world. Ever. -1 -Paulina Porizkova,...

In last night's episode of Ru Paul's Drag Race the seven remaining contestants were asked to pay homage to the great Oprah Winfrey.
The were given several challenges. First, in honor of Oprah's local newscaster roots they were asked to read the news from a teleprompter, and then try to pitch a blow dryer in a television commercial.
Then they were asked to take to the couch as talk show hosts and interview some real live celebrities: The always game for the cameras super-couple: Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott.
Finally, (and I have No idea how this was in any way related to Oprah Winfrey) they were asked to walk the runway in a drag costume of their own choosing. Either the show interpreted this Oprah theme very loosely, or the big O and Gail like to dress up and do walk offs during their sleepovers.
In case you...
