A Digital Spy poll which invited readers to crack the case last week had John neck-and-neck with Amy Wyatt (Chelsea Halfpenny), with only 0.5% between them. However, John extended his lead over his fellow suspects in the past week, giving him 26.3% in the final result. Amy took second place with 19.9%. Speculation that John would be the attacker recently intensified following the announcement that James Thornton, who plays him, is leaving the soap. The full and final results of our 'Who Will Attack Cain?' poll were as follows: 1. John Barton (26.3%)

Emmerdale star Jeff Hordley has revealed that he has more sympathy for the Bartons than any of Cain Dingle's other enemies. Cain recently caused turmoil in the family by embarking on an affair with Moira (Natalie J Robb) and later revealing the truth to her furious husband John (James Thornton). His antics mean that both John and Moira will become suspects when Cain is brutally attacked by a mystery assailant later this week. Amy Wyatt (Chelsea Halfpenny), Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson), Charity Tate (Emma Atkins) and Zak Dingle (Steve Halliwell) will also be in the frame in the weeks following the shock incident. Hordley told the Daily Record: "Of all the six suspects, I think the Bartons are the ones that get the short straw. He's always fancied Moira. He's never got on with John and he saw an opportunity there with (more)...

Emmerdale star Natalie J Robb has revealed that she enjoyed filming her sex scenes with co-star Jeff Hordley. The actress plays Moira Barton in the ITV1 soap, who cheated on husband John (James Thornton) with Hordley's character Cain Dingle. "It was brilliant doing the sex scenes," she told Bang Showbiz. "Jeff was really good to work with, he made it easy. The director choreographed it all. It was quite racy! "Luckily, it was a double episode so they were able to go a bit further than usual. One of the sound guys was really embarrassed because he was right next to us while I was snogging Jeff." (more)...

Matt Flint is due to make an appearance on So You Think You Can Dance when the show returns this weekend, but it won’t be the first time the tap dancer has been affiliated with the BBC.
A clip of the London based performer was featured on BBC Breakfast this morning, and he was seen stunning the Sytycd judging panel – Nigel Lythgoe, Arlene Phillips, Louise Redknapp and Sisco Gomez – with his fast paced and unique tap routine.
However, Matt isn’t quite the newcomer though and obviously has TV links, because after a bit of research we discovered that he has recently worked on BBC’s Let’s Dance For Comic Relief, where he choreographed the routine of series winners James Thornton and Charlie Baker. You can see pictures of him at the final show with the famous pair here.

Let’s Dance For Comic Relief is over for another year, though for the first time ever a man in drag did Not take the crown.
Last night saw five of the nation’s favourite stars (and Katie Price) return to the stage and give their take on some iconic dance routines.
Charlie Baker and James Thornton won with their tap dancing extravaganza and the old time performance reminded us of all those old movies we used to watch with our granny, while breaking our teeth on her incredibly brittle tray of toffee! Since they were the champions of the night, let’s have a look at their performance first
The Eightie’s Supergroup performed their Greased Lightening routine again and although they did make us giggle, it was clear that they had no chance of winning from the minute they took to the stage.

Let’s Dance For Comic Relief Results: James Thornton and Charlie Baker win with tap dancing routine!
James Thornton and Charlie Baker have won tonight’s Let’s Dance For Comic Relief final show.
In an evening that saw Ade Edmondson become a dying swan, 80′s popstars shimmy to an old Grease song and Katie Price making a fool of herself once again, James and Charlie danced their away to victory with an old style tap dance routine to Putting On The Ritz.
The stars found themselves in the final two alongside Russell Kane, who we were sure had the trophy in the bag after wowing the crowd with his bootylicious Beyonce themed routine to Crazy In Love. But for once it wasn’t a man in drag to steal the crown, instead the public preferred a pair of actually quite talented movers.
After hearing the news, a very bemused Charlie said:

James Thornton and Charlie Baker brought us another dose of their tap dance magic on tonight’s Let’s Dance For Comic Relief final.
They make a bit of a joke of the fact that people on this show are supposed to be rubbish. In fact this talented pair are actually quite amazing.
It was our second look at the old school routine – Putting On The Ritz and we still weren’t bored. It reminded us of all those old movies we used to watch with our granny, while breaking our teeth on her incredibly brittle tray of toffee!
The judges loved them and gave the comments below:
Rufus Hound:
Charlie I have known you for a long time and I didn’t expect you ever to be doing that. I haven’t enough so much clip clopping since I moved underneath that bridge. Well done!
Miranda Hart:
They are lovely!

Ade (Adrian) Edmondson and the Eighties Super Group have won a place in next week’s Let’s Dance For Comic Relief final.
Ade wowed the judges and audience earlier in the night with his Dying Swan performance. The whole event was set off by a surprise visit from his old Bottom pal Rik Mayall who appeared just to bash him with a frying pan…judging by the huge bump Adrian is now sporting on his head, Rik may not be invited back next Saturday.
The Eighties Super Group found themselves fighting for a place in the final against ITV2 presenters Joe Swash and Carloine Flack, but they won the vote of judges Felix Dexter and Jo Brand and will get to perform their Greased Lightening routine again!
On hearing the results Chesney Hawkes admitted: “I’m totally shocked to be honest with you.”
