New Kids on the Block are making a toast to never growing up as they announce their first album in more than a decade, Still Kids. The album is set for release on May 17 and follows up their 2013 full-length 10. “This album, more than any other, is bringing the New Kids and the fans full circle,” Donnie Wahlberg shared in a statement. “It’s about hope and possibilities and being ourselves.”

16-year-old figure skater Koshiba Fuka has scored the lead role in the live-action version of Hayao Miyazaki’s 1989 animated feature Kiki’s Delivery Service".
Takashi Shimizu is confirmed to be helming the project, based on a novel by Eiko Kadono, about a young broom-riding witch who spends a year trying to make it on her own by working as an air courier. [Source: Twitchfilm]

Geoffrey Sax's independent thriller Unmasked has landed its star in Christina Ricci. The script comes from first-time writer Peter Scott Vicaire. Sources say that the script was found on Inktip.com and optioned by Sean Thomas, the producer of the upcoming William H. Macy, Sam Rockwell and Melissa Leo starrer A Single Shot. Sax, known for directing films like Frankie & Alice and White Noise, will direct the film which tells of a man who joins a dangerous and mysterious club in order to relive the worst day of his life. Really? Why would you want to do that? Perhaps that description isn't summing the project's true meaning.
