It’s been two years since Greg A. Sager made his directorial debut with The Devil in Me (aka Devil Seed), a slice of demonic Canadian terror that made my Top 10 films of the year list and I’ve been eagerly awaiting his follow up ever since. Well now the wait is over as Kingdom Come, another superb supernatural horror from the Great White North, hits DVD and VOD across North America.
Starting out in a similar vein to the original Saw movie, Kingdom Come sees a group of strangers wake up disoriented in a seemingly abandoned hospital. However unlike that franchise, this group of strangers soon find themselves being stalked by a supernatural force with sinister intentions.

Exclusive: The action-thriller stars Dominic Purcell, Danny Glover, Cody Hackman and Stephen Lang and is in post.
Allan Ungar directs Gridlocked, about a former Swat leader and a movie star on a ride-along who become trapped when a training facility is overrun by mercenaries.
Ungar and Rob Robol wrote the screenplay and Bruno Marino produces alongside Jenna Mattison and Geoff Hart from Hackybox Pictures.
“It’s fun to sell such an energetic, exciting and edgy film,” said Red Sea Media CEO Roman Kopelevich. “This is a high-quality production with an outstanding script and we think this type of action film is exactly what buyers are looking for.”
Ungar previously wrote and directed the Mma thriller Tapped starring Michael Biehn and Anderson Silva.
Red Sea Media’s Afm sales slate includes Dawn Patrol starring Scott Eastwood and Rita Wilson, The Timber starring Josh Peck and action adventure Beyond Skyline, set to begin shooting in December.

Greg A. Sager was the director of possession thriller Devil Seed. Devil Seed was a rehash of several Exorcist tropes, which was not well received by this critic. However, everyone loves a comeback. And, Sager is returning to horror with his next title, Kingdom Come. Kingdom Come is a mysterious story. Several strangers find themselves trapped in a mental health hospital, after being abducted. While gathering their wits, they are assaulted by all manners of demons and ghostly entities. Why were they chosen and more importantly, how will they escape? The first trailer for Kingdom Come was released late last month. This film fan missed the debut of this clip and other horror fans might have missed it, too. The official trailer for the film is here, for fans of the supernatural. Release Date: March 17, 2014. Director: Greg A. Sager. Writer: Geoff Hart, Greg A. Sager and A. Jaye Williams. Cast: Katie Uhlmann,...

Michael Biehn stars in Tapped as Reggie, a karate instructor who mentors a teenager who’s been sent to do community service at his rundown school and plans to enter a mixed-martial-arts tournament to confront the killer of his parents. Directed by Allan Ungar, the movie also stars Martin Kove (on familiar turf from the Karate Kid movies), Hobo With A Shotgun’s Nick Bateman, five-time Karate World Champion Cody Hackman and Ufc superstars Anderson Silva, Lyoto Machida and Krzysztof Soszynski.
The movie was shot in London, Ontario, Canada, and producer Geoff Hart plans to return there to film the upcoming chiller Severed Connection, starring Biehn and partner Jennifer Blanc. Hart also scripted this one, from a story by Bateman and Hackman about two people who find themselves trapped in a remote location and must reveal their pasts in order to survive. Bateman and Hackman will be part of the...

Director: Greg A. Sager. Writers: Geoff Hart and Greg A. Sager. Cast: Michelle Argyris, Shantelle Canzanese, Vanessa Broze, Kevin Jake Walker and Wayne Conroy. There have been a number of possession styled thrillers released since 1973's groundbreaking The Exorcist. The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005), Drag Me to Hell (2009), The Last Exorcism (2010) and recently The Devil Inside (2012) come to mind. Devil Seed does nothing to improve this genre. Devil Seed, much like its former name The Devil Inside Me, does not set itself apart from exorcism films of the past. Worse, this supposed horror tale does little to create tension nor scares. The story has been written many times before. A young woman enters a haunted locale. Here, she is raped by a demonic figure, possibly Satan. She becomes pregnant with the unclean while tormenting her two roommates: Breanne (Vanessa Broze) and Jessica (Shantelle Canzanese). Even her boyfriend, Brian (Kevin Jake Walker...

The Devil In Me
Stars: Michelle Argyris, Shantelle Canzanese, Vanessa Broze, Kevin Jake Walker, Wayne Conroy | Written by Greg A. Sager, Geoff Hart | Directed by Greg A. Sager
I’ll admit it, when I saw the original synopsis for The Devil In Me (which is also known as Devil Seed, which tells you a lot more about what happens in the movie than the UK title) I thought it was merely a knock-off of The Devil Inside and the similar “possession” flicks that have been flooding the market recently. However now having sat down and watched the movie my opinion has completely changed… Yes, The Devil in Me is yet another film about possession, but it stands head and shoulders above its competition thanks to a superb performance by Michelle Argyris as Alex – the young student undergoing the supernatural torture – and some fantastic creepy imagery from director Greg A. Sager,...
