2006 he saw his first film festival screening with the film noir piece
Sixes and the One Eyed King and today Robison continues independent
filmmaking primarily in Oregon where he makes his home.
- IMDb Mini Biography By: Robison
Ray Nomoto Robison is a hapa American living in Oregon. Upon graduating from Film School (Montana State University), Robison packed his Pontiac Sunbird and headed to fame and fortune in Hollywood. 48 hours later he was on his way back to his hometown in Montana. The big city life didn't fit him. After bouncing around a number of media related jobs in Montana and Washington he landed a producer/director position with television station in Southern Oregon. That was over 35 years ago and Robison has been in rural Oregon ever since, making movies around his "day-job" and believing that leaving Hollywood after just 48 hours was one of the best decisions of his life.
