The Vanderpump Rules reunion kicked off Tuesday night with the first part of what promises to be a fiery three-part special. When the cast gathered one year after Scandoval, former partners Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval finally sat in the same semi-circle and addressed each other’s presence for the first time since last season’s reunion.
The trailer for the annual post-finale sitdown had teased that twists would be in store when the main cast filmed in Los Angeles to hash out the events of season 11, which began filming shortly after last year’s Scandoval season had wrapped. The finale, which aired May 7, ended on an explosive note when Madix exited a cast event early after refusing to film with Sandoval, who had approached her for an attempted filmed apology. The exes communicate via a third party and have not directly filmed together all season.

Despite the fact that not one, but two of the show’s four central couples have split up recently, Bravo has renewed “The Valley” for a second season. And yes, the full cast is expected to be back — even those who seem to be heading toward divorce.
“The Valley” — years in the making — premiered on Bravo on March 19, in the Tuesday timeslot after “Vanderpump Rules,” its progenitor. In the announcement, part of a broader set of renewals made by parent company NBCUniversal, the company called the show “its most-watched freshman series in nearly a decade.”
“The Valley” is led by former “Vanderpump Rules” stars Jax Taylor and his now-estranged wife Brittany Cartwright, along with Kristen Doute, all of whom were jettisoned from the mothership in 2020, after the show’s disastrous eighth season, when Doute’s and Taylor’s past misdeeds (of the racist kind) made them too toxic to employ.

Emily Simpson Doesn’t Know How To Handle Shannon Beador
A lot has transpired since Season 17 of Rhoc wrapped filming. Shannon Beador ended up getting arrested for a DUI hit and run. She even had her dog, Archie in the car when this all happened. In the aftermath, her ex-boyfriend, John Janssen was by her side then he began dating show alum, Alexis Bellino. Say what you want about Emily Simpson, but she’s a straight shooter through and through.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star gets a lot of slack from fans, but they might change their tune when she goes head-to-head with Shannon Beador in the new season.
Tensions are brewing between the two women and Emily threw major shade at her castmate.
During an interview with producer Alex Baskin, the 48-year-old confessed that it’s “hard to be friends” with Shannon.
Meanwhile, this is gearing up to be an excruciating season for Shannon, who already has to contend with her ex-boyfriend John Janssen’s new romance with returning Housewife, Alexis Bellino.
Added to that is her contentious fallout with former bestie and Tres Amigas partner Tamra Judge, who’s no longer her ally on the show.
Shannon’s relationship with Gina Kirschenheiter was also on the fritz after a tense confrontation at the Season 17 reunion.

For the first eight seasons of Bravo‘s “Vanderpump Rules,” Jax Taylor was the man viewers loved to hate. Between his hot temper, shameless gossiping, and seeming inability to be faithful to any of the women in his life — including Brittany Cartwright, whom he would eventually marry in 2019 after a series of break-ups and reconciliations — Taylor was one of the most compelling cast members on the show right up until he and Cartwright were fired from it in 2020. So when the news broke in early 2024 that Jax and Brittany would be returning to television with their own spinoff series, “The Valley,” expectations among “Vanderpump” fans were high.
So far, “The Valley” has not only met but exceeded those expectations with episodes that are every bit as entertaining and revelatory as those found on the best seasons of “Vanderpump,” even though the milieu might seem less promising. Instead of singles in Hollywood,...

It appears that Season 13 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” has achieved not only the series’ highest viewership ever, but the highest of the entire “Real Housewives” franchise since 2014, according to Multiplatform + 35 data.
The first 16 episodes of Season 13 averaged 4 million viewers across 35 days of Bravo and Peacock viewership. Episodes 17-20 have yet to hit the 35-day mark, but performed strongly according to same-day data, outpacing several of the preceding episodes. Assuming the 35-day average remains at or above 4 million when the final four episodes are tallied, this puts Season 13 above every single “Real Housewives” season since 2014, when “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” concluded its sixth season.
Of those 4 million average “Beverly Hills” viewers, 2 million fall within the adults 18-49 demographic.
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show” has also gotten a boost this season. To date, all episodes of the Season 13 After Show have reached a combined 12.1 million streams,...

Taking a page out of the Vanderpump Rules producer handbook, cameras on The Valley began rolling again after Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright shared publicly that the married couple was taking time apart.
Production had wrapped on the Vpr spinoff series last year, but The Hollywood Reporter reported that the cameras fired back up to capture the fallout when, in late February, Cartwright announced on her and Taylor’s podcast that the parents to 2-year-old son Cruz were separating after four years of marriage.
“Yes, marriages in general are really hard, and I’ve had a particularly rough year in mine this past year. Jax and I are taking time apart, and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health,” she said, reading from a prepared statement. “I won’t get into too many details right now, because...

When Kristen Doute, Jax Taylor and his wife, Brittany Cartwright, exited Vanderpump Rules in 2020, viewers weren’t quick to expect a return to Bravo. But nearly four years later, the trio have their own spinoff series with The Valley.

It’s apology time.
Tom Sandoval, star of Vanderpump Rules, was the subject of a nearly 7,000 word profile in The New York Times, where he compared his recent cheating scandal to George Floyd and O.J. Simpson.
He has now apologized.
“My intentions behind the comments I made in New York Times Magazine were to explain the level of national media attention my affair received. The comparison was inappropriate and ignorant. I’m incredibly sorry and embarrassed,” Sandoval said.
When asked why Scandoval – which kicked off during the Bravo series during the end of last season – had got so big, Sandoval said, “I’m not a pop-culture historian really but I witnessed the O.J. Simpson thing and George Floyd and all these big things, which is really weird to compare this to that, I think, but do you think in a weird way it’s a little bit the same?...

According to the logline for the special, the spinoff of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” will employ “a compilation of formal interviews and observational footage” to capture cast member Jayne during her preparation for her Las Vegas residency, which viewers saw her score on the show’s currently airing 13th season. The special covers the “frenzied six-week run-up to opening night” at the House of Blues on August 25, 2023, as Jayne works on assembling her songs, wardrobe and choreography while contending with the “realities of budget constraints and a ticking clock.”
“Bet It All on Blonde” was originally announced at BravoCon in early November, and the Vegas residency represents a comeback for Jayne, as the backdrop for the special revolves around her legal and financial problems after the downfall of her estranged husband,...

The season 11 premiere of Vanderpump Rules was titled “Notes on a Scandal,” and that scandal — or Scandoval — brought in a big audience.
The premiere delivered 3.2 million viewers for Bravo (including three days of delayed viewing), a 68 percent jump over the season 10 opener in February 2023. While “Notes on a Scandal” didn’t quite reach the heights of the season 10 reunion — part one of which drew 4.6 million viewers over three days, an all-time Vanderpump high — 3.2 million viewers is still a big number for any cable show.
In the key ad-sales demographic of adults 18-49, Vanderpump Rules drew 1.8 million viewers, an 85 percent improvement on the season 10 premiere. It’s also the biggest 18-49 audience for any Bravo season premiere in more than six years — since The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 10 debut in November 2017.
Those figures don’t include streaming, NBCUniversal doesn’t regularly release detailed viewing data for Peacock. NBCU says viewing...

The 29-year-old has previously opened up about her decision to not come back, including how former friend and co-star Ariana Madix influenced her decision.

Filming season 11 of Vanderpump Rules was a challenge. In fact, it was the hardest season yet.
“The level of interest was just more fervent than it had ever been,” says executive producer and showrunner Alex Baskin. “There were chants for our cast while we were shooting and that makes it very hard to film the interactions between them.”
Viewers of the Bravo reality series got a taste of that behind-the-scenes chaos when tuning into Tuesday’s premiere. When the ensemble of friends gathers to support DJ James Kennedy for a night out at Tom Tom, the West Hollywood restaurant bearing the names of Tom Schwartz and his partner-who-shall-not-be-named (Tom Sandoval) served as “ground zero” for Vanderpump Rules fandom.
Ariana Madix — whom Schwartz describes in his confessional as having “exalted status” as queen woman scorned — dances amid a backdrop of blurred, adoring faces in the crowd. “For anyone who thought things...

The best unscripted series on television returns January 30 with the Season 11 premiere of Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules,” and anticipation was high for both longtime viewers of the series and those who only recently got sucked in by the cultural phenomenon that was “Sandoval.” When Tom Sandoval blew up his relationship with longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix by sleeping with her friend Raquel, he inadvertently created the most irresistibly compelling onscreen drama of 2023. Season 10 ended with Tom estranged from the friends he had known for a decade and raised some very real questions about where the show — which has always revolved around the interconnectedness of that group — could possibly go from there.
The first thing to say about the Season 11 premiere is that it was worth the wait, but not for the reasons one might think. There’s nothing sensationalistic or hyped-up about the show’s return; knowing that the inherent tension...

How do you follow Scandoval? That was the question facing Bravo and the Vanderpump Rules producers when they convened to discuss season 11.
“Before we started the season, we had a meeting at NBCU,” executive producer and showrunner Alex Baskin tells The Hollywood Reporter of Bravo parent company NBCUniversal, “and we were like, ‘Ok, we’ve gotten a lot of attention, there’s been a lot of adulation, and guess what? We have to do it again.’
“So we stayed really focused, but it was hard. If I can say, it was the hardest season that we have had to make, because we had challenges all over the place. We had extra attention and scrutiny, we had a cast that was still picking up the pieces. And so we really had to work as hard as we’ve ever had to work for what, I think, is a great season and...

The cast of Vanderpump Rules, including feuding exes Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval, took over the red carpet at the Hollywood Palladium on Wednesday night (January 17) to celebrate the premiere of the Bravo show’s 11th season!
Scheana Shay, Tom Schwartz, Lisa Vanderpump, Ally Lewber, James Kennedy, Lala Kent, Katie Malony and Brock Davies joined the former couple at the event.
The premiere comes shortly after Ariana sued Tom over the home that they have been sharing in Los Angeles. If you forgot, the longtime couple split in March 2023 following the revelation that Tom had been unfaithful.
Keep reading to find out more…
One person noticeably absent from the premiere was former Vanderpump Rules star Rachel Leviss (who formerly went by Raquel). She was famously involved in the Scandoval (Tom‘s affair) and opted out of returning for another season. Just last month, she even revealed the costar who influenced her decision.

On the heels of Bravo announcing Vanderpump Rules spinoff series The Valley — starring former castmembers Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright and Kristen Doute — executive producers Lisa Vanderpump and Alex Baskin are teasing what to expect from the new show.
The Valley, which premieres this spring, will follow a group of close friends as they trade bottle service in West Hollywood for baby bottles in the suburbs, and focuses on five couples (who were real-life friends before the show) that include Taylor and Cartwright and Doute and boyfriend Luke Broderick.
“Their story goes on and I think it was kind of a good idea to see the growth. It’s a very different show than Vanderpump Rules, but I think it was interesting to see them pretend to be grown-ups,” Vanderpump told The Hollywood Reporter at the Vanderpump Rules season 11 premiere event in L.A. on Wednesday. “I use the word ‘grown-ups...

Alex Baskin, the producer of Vanderpump Rules, is teasing its spinoff The Valley and viewers can expect a cinematic transition reminiscent of the way The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills transitioned to the former.
One of the moments in Bravo history that fans still talk about is the seamless way Vanderpump Rules was introduced to audiences via an episode of Rhobh. Scheana Shay was the link between both shows and had a sitdown with housewife Brandi Glanville that started at the end of an episode of Rhobh. Once they cleared their situation up, the episode transitioned into Vanderpump Rules without a cut that made audiences carry over to sample the new Bravo series.
Now Baskin has revealed to Deadline that there’s going to be a similar way that Vanderpump Rules carries over to the newly-announced The Valley, with Jax Taylor at the center of the scene.

Bravo is continuing to expand its Vanderpump Rules universe following the long-running show hitting series-high ratings last year amid the Scandoval controversy.
The Valley is officially a go at Bravo, with the unscripted Vanderpump Rules spinoff set to debut this spring on a yet-to-be-announced premiere date. Vanderpump Rules alums Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright and Kristen Doute are among the familiar faces who are set to star in the project that The Hollywood Reporter reported in June was in the works.
This new series focuses on a friend group of five couples who have left behind their previous hedonistic lifestyles — including bottle service in West Hollywood — and are now concentrating on routines involving baby bottles in Los Angeles’ less-glamorous San Fernando Valley. Bravo debuted The Valley’s promo Wednesday at a premiere event for the forthcoming 11th season of Vanderpump Rules.

I’m really proud of her.” As for other Housewives entries in the pipeline, it was revealed at BravoCon that The Real Housewives...

The fallout from Scandoval continues in the first trailer for season 11 of Bravo’s reality hit Vanderpump Rules.
Among the revelations in the footage released Monday is Tom Schwartz telling co-star Lala Kent that he previously shared an amorous moment with Scheana Shay, who wed Brock Davies in the summer of 2021. The trailer for the new season that begins airing Jan. 30 does not specify when the supposed kiss between Schwartz and Shay took place.
“I’ve cheated,” says Schwartz, who was previously married to Katie Maloney. “I was a make-out slut. I made out with Scheana in Vegas. Nobody knows that.”
Later in the trailer, Davies is seen heatedly telling Shay, “You make out as if this is fine. It hasn’t been fine.”

Erika Jayne is going from Beverly Hills to Sin City!
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star’s Las Vegas residency will be spotlighted in a two-part documentary special in Spring 2024 called “Erika Jayne: Bet It All on Blonde.”
The title is derived from her “Bet It All on Blonde” show at the House of Blues in Mandalay Bay, which was announced back in April 2023. Shows began in August and continue through December.
“Through a compilation of formal interviews and observational footage, the documentary chronicles the lead-up to Jayne’s show-stopping Las Vegas debut, set against the backdrop of a deeply personal narrative that sees her take the biggest gamble yet when she bets it all on herself,” a description of the new special read.
“Looking to reclaim her life both personally and professionally, the stakes could not be higher for Jayne in the wake of her tumultuous separation and ongoing legal battles.

Bravo is upping the ante on Erika Jayne, ordering a documentary series following the embattled “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star and pop singer as she mounts a solo Las Vegas music residency.
“Erika Jayne: Bet It All on Blonde” will air in two parts in the second quarter of 2024. The news was announced out of BravoCon 2023 in Las Vegas.
“Nothing is making me happy,” Jayne laments in the first trailer for the series. Budget issues, her plunging waistline (it’s hormones!) and the eyes of a cynical media all befall Jayne as she hopes to launch her show, one...

The phrase “15 minutes of fame” simply doesn’t apply to Spencer and Heidi Pratt, the husband-and-wife reality star duo better known as “Speidi” since they began dating during the second season of the Laguna Beach spinoff The Hills. Since those early 2000s MTV reality docuseries days, the couple, who eloped in Mexico on Nov. 20, 2008, has appeared on various reality TV shows and competitions, from Celebrity Big Brother seasons 11 and 19 to Celebrity Wife Swap, Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars 2, and the short-lived spinoff The Hills: New Beginnings. There was an even shorter music career for Heidi who released her debut studio album, Superficial, in 2010.
Never ones to take themselves as seriously as their quest for fame, Heidi and Spencer recently launched a pop culture video podcast with The Ringer Podcast Network, a Spotify Studio. Appropriately titled Speidi’s 16th Minute, the podcast delves into celebrity gossip, the behind-the-scenes realities of creating...

A con man who was convicted twice in New York for bilking victims out of millions of dollars through financial fraud schemes was behind bars today in Los Angeles on charges of running similar scams locally, allegedly luring victims by claiming to be well-connected with big names in Hollywood and the finance world.
David Bloom, 59, was arrested around 4 a.m. Monday by the Los Angeles Police Department, and he was being held in lieu of $505,000 bail. Bloom was charged with nine counts each of grand theft and fraud while selling securities “with special allegations of two or more prior felony convictions”, according to L.A. District Attorney George Gascón.
“David Bloom managed to convince hard-working people to turn over their earnings as part of a fraudulent investment scheme,” Gascón said in a statement. “Anyone who believes they fell victim in this case or other financial scams are encouraged to report...
