Climate change is a deeply important issue. It has been for decades, but the rhetoric surrounding the crisis has ramped to a fever pitch in recent years. And while politicians and anyone else with a platform have continually simplified the complexity of the situation, very few have continued to dumb it down to the levels of the new “cli-fi” debacle “Chloe And Theo.” Theo Ikummaq (played by Ikummaq himself) is an Inuit from the arctic sent on a mission by his elders: he is to travel to “The South” and warn those in power to change their ways before the sun melts the polar caps and burns up the planet. “Fifty Shades of Grey” star Dakota Johnson’s latest movie “Chloe and Theo” has been acquired by Arc Entertainment, which will release the film in theaters and on VOD on Sept. 4, it was announced Monday by Arc’s head of acquisitions Scott Moesta. Mira Sorvino, Larry King and newcomer Theo Ikummaq, which was written and directed by Ezna Sands. “Chloe and Theo” tells the story of Theo (Ikummaq), an Inuit man from the Arctic who travels to New York City to warn world leaders about the catastrophic impact of global warming on the planet. Upon arrival, he meets a homeless girl named Chloe.

Also on Tiberius’s slate are two horror films produced by Eli Roth - The Stranger, directed by Guillermo Amoedo, about a Canadian village doomed by the arrival of a stranger and Clown, directed by Jon Watts, in which a clown costume turns a well-meaning father into a coldblooded killer.
