In the latest of our comprehensive series of reviews of DC Comics' 52 relaunched titles, we take a look at Voodoo #1. Who's it by?
Voodoo #1 is written by Ron Marz (Witchblade) and drawn by Sami Basri (Power Girl). What's the history?
Voodoo was created by Brandon Choi and DC co-publisher Jim Lee as part of the WildStorm Universe in WildC.A.T.S #1 in 1992. The team of superhumans was formed to aid the alien race called the Kherubim in the war against their enemies the Daemonites. Priscilla Kitaen was a young exotic dancer and telepath, a human-Kherubim hybrid with the ability to detect people who had been possessed by Daemonites. Voodoo later discovered her own Daemonite heritage and learned that the aliens were not all as evil as she had been led to believe. What's new?
Voodoo has now been integrated (more)...

Megan Fox apparently dreams of playing a lesbian Apache superhero in a movie. Interviewed on the red carpet for the world premiere of "Jonah Hex", the Mikaela Banes of the first two "Transformers" movies has revealed her desire to star as Sarah Rainmaker from Jim Lee and Brandon Choi's comic series "Gen 13".
"I don't want people to protest this, but I would like to be [Sarah] Rainmaker in 'Gen 13 ' if they ever made that into a movie," the 24-year-old beauty told Fox News. Confident that the role will fit her nicely, she pointed out, "She's a Native American and I have a little bit of that blood in me. It would be a bit of a stretch, but if Jake Gyllenhaal can be the Prince of Persia, I think that I can do that."

The actress lists the Image superhero as her dream role
Megan Fox would like to play the role of Sarah Rainmaker in a Gen¹³ feature film, the actress told Fox411.
The character, created by Jim Lee and Brandon Choi, first appeared in Stormwatch #8 in 1994. Raised on a Native American reservation in Arizona, Rainmaker has the power to control the weather and later joined the Gen¹³ team as it became Image's flagship title.
Rainmaker is also famous for having come out as a lesbian character (although later iterations of the series depicted the character as bisexual).
Although a Gen¹³ movie is not known actively in development, Fox is already countering potential criticism of her playing the part.
