(1948), Kiss Me, Kate (1948), Make A Wish (1951), Pal Joey (1952), The Time of Your Life (1955), Shangri-La (1956), Ziegfeld Follies of 1957 (1957), On The Town (1959), I Can Get it For You Wholesale (1962) and The Decline and Fall of the Entire World as Seen Through the Eyes of Cole Porter, Revisited (1965).
- Originated the role of Bill Calhoun 'Lucentio' in the Broadway production of "Kiss Me Kate".
- In 1951, he sang the role of Joey Evans in the first-ever LP recording of the score of Rodgers and Hart's 1940 stage musical, "Pal Joey". The recording co-starred Vivienne Segal in her original Broadway role as Vera Simpson. This LP was such a success that it led to the show's revival in 1952, when it was finally acclaimed as a major hit.
