Carl Kress was born on 20 October 1907 in Livingston, New Jersey, USA. He was an actor, known for The Garry Moore Show (1950) and The Opry House (1929). He died on 10 June 1965 in Sparks, Nevada, USA.
Jazz musician. Played piano, banjo, mainly guitar. Made numerous studio recordings with diverse orchestras. Specialised in guitar duets with, among others, Ed Lang and George Barnes. Died from a heart attack while performing in Reno, Nevada.
