The X Factor 2015 video round up: Relive the best (and worst) auditions from Saturday night's show
Digital Spy was watching Twitter during the show and has compiled the best viewer comments from the first week of X Factor auditions below:
People were excited for the (brief) return of Wagner and his (lack of) backing dancers in the opening credits:
No matter what changes with X factor whether it's judges/presenters etc, 1 thing never changes..Wagner always seems to make an appearance

Goals from Marko Arnautovic and Mame Diouf secured a sensational five minute comeback as Stoke fought back from two goals down against Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs will regret not putting the game out of Mark Hughes’ side’s reach as they squandered a hatful of clear-cut opportunities in what proved to be a very entertaining fixture.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side took the leader in the 19th minute after Eric Dier’s header from a Christian Eriksen corner flew past Jack Butland and into the net.
Spurs’ lead was doubled when Nacer Chadli volleyed the ball home after a Ben Davies cross found him at the back post.
Stoke’s revival started after they were awarded a penalty in the 77th minute after Toby Alderweireld brought down Joselu.
Arnautovic scored from the penalty spot and just five minutes later Diouf levelled after heading home from a Stephen Ireland cross.

Most footballers play in a single position. If you were to ask them where they can play, they would generally give you one position as an answer.
In Spurs’ case, it’s no different on the whole; Hugo Lloris is a goalkeeper, Kyle Walker is a right back, Ben Davies is a left back, Aaron Lennon is a winger and Roberto Soldado is a striker, for example, but they do have some players who can turn their hand to a number of roles and have also had several examples of such players in the past.
It’s always good to have options, so having players in your ranks who can fill in competently in a number of positions benefits any club greatly.
Good examples of Premier League players who have been able to play in more than one position comfortably have included the likes of Dion Dublin and Chris Sutton,...

Tottenham Hotspur’s impressive start to this Premier League campaign has come to an abrupt halt.
Two wins out of two – over West Ham United at the Boleyn Ground and over Queens Park Rangers at White Hart Lane – in addition to two wins in the Europa League play-off round saw Mauricio Pochettino get off to a flyer in his reign as coach of the Lilywhites.
However, a home thrashing against Liverpool was followed by a draw against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light in a match during which Spurs completely dominated proceedings and it is clear, even this early in the season, that the club are still lacking quality (at least in terms of depth) in certain areas.
The club missed out on a number of potential targets in the summer and, although several players were brought in – Michel Vorm, Ben Davies, Eric Dier, DeAndre Yedlin,...

Last season, Tottenham Hotspur had the worst defensive record out of every team in the top eight of the Premier League.
Thanks largely to a number of heavy defeats at the hands of the league’s top teams, Spurs conceded 51 goals in their 38 game league campaign and they really can’t afford for that to happen again if they want to make an impact on the top four and earn themselves Champions League football via the domestic route this year.
As a result, new boss Mauricio Pochettino has taken action, selling Michael Dawson and bringing in Eric Dier, Federico Fazio and Ben Davies in defence, as well as new goalkeeping backup in the form of Michel Vorm and a new defensive midfielder in Benjamin Stambouli.
So far – and bearing in mind that not all of those men have even appeared in a Spurs shirt...

Last season, Tottenham Hotspur conceded the most Premier League goals out of every team in the top eight. Spurs let in 51 goals in their 38 league matches, which was only four less than the 55 they scored – not the greatest goal difference for a team hunting a Champions League place.
This season started somewhat more promising, as Spurs scored five without reply in their first two league games against West Ham United (1-0) and Queens Park Rangers (4-0) respectively.
However, signs of their old leaky defence from last season reappeared when Liverpool went to White Hart Lane and beat the Lilywhites 3-0.
As a result of their defensive problems, Spurs have signed defensive reinforcements in the likes of left back Ben Davies from Swansea City, centre back Federico Fazio from Sevilla and defensive midfielder Benjamin Stambouli from Montpellier, while Michael Dawson has been sold to Hull City.

One of Spurs’ six new signings this summer was French midfielder Benjamin Stambouli. The combative player cost £4.7 million from Ligue 1 side Montpellier and is believed to be the alternate choice to Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin.
Stambouli joins left back Ben Davies who joined from Swansea City for £10 million, goalkeeper Michel Vorm who also joined from Swansea City for £5 million, centre back Eric Dier who joined from Sporting Clube de Portugal for £4 million, right back DeAndre Yedlin who joined from Seattle Sounders for £2.5 million and centre back Federico Fazio who joined from Sevilla for £8 million.
Stambouli is one of four from the six who haven’t played for Spurs yet. Davies and Dier have each donned the white shirt, but the Frenchman, Vorm, Yedlin and Fazio haven’t.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto has been completely left out of the Spurs squads for both the Premier League and the UEFA Europa League campaigns this season – this is in spite of the fact that only 23 players have been named in both, even though clubs are actually allowed to name 25 – casting a serious doubt over his footballing future.
The Cameroon international is now out in the cold, with Danny Rose and Ben Davies well ahead of him in the left back pecking order at White Hart Lane and, after having failed to earn a move away from the club in the summer transfer window, he probably faces at least four months of total inactivity until the January window opens.
Assou-Ekotto spent all of last season on loan at Queens Park Rangers and the 30-year-old was highly expected to join up with the Hoops and his former Spurs...

Spurs left back Danny Rose has received a shock call-up to Roy Hodgson’s latest England squad.
Injuries to Manchester United’s Luke Shaw and Arsenal’s Kieran Gibbs have left an opening in the left back slot, with the only fit recognised player in that position being Leighton Baines following Ashley Cole’s retirement.
The call-up emphasises a dramatic change in fortunes for Rose, who was thought to be nothing more than a squad player at White Hart Lane this season after the Lilywhites signed Ben Davies from Swansea City. However, having signed a new five year contract at the club, he has started the season very well and is currently their first choice left back.

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club’s captain and longest-serving player, Michael Dawson, signed for Hull City yesterday.
The former Nottingham Forest centre back, who is 30 years of age, was deemed surplus to requirements under new Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino’s regime and reunites with former Spurs players Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermore at the Kc Stadium.
Dawson made 236 Premier League appearances for Spurs – 221 of which came from the start – and 88 appearances in other competitions. He scored ten goals for the club.
Spurs are set to have a new look back-line this season, with Eric Dier and Ben Davies already having signed on at White Hart Lane and Federico Fazio set to sign imminently and Dawson simply wasn’t considered part of that defensive reconfiguration.

Spurs have not exactly been busy in this summer’s transfer window. They’ve actually brought more cash in that they’ve spent on new signings, with the sales of the likes of Jake Livermore, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Iago Falque more than offsetting the purchases of Ben Davies, Michel Vorm, Eric Dier and DeAndre Yedlin.
That said, the squad is still huge and with new boss Mauricio Pochettino apparently wanting to sign more players before the transfer window slams shut and, if indeed he does have more players on the way in – with the likes of Mattia Destro, Memphis Depay and Federico Fazio linked to the White Hart Lane club – some players will need to be sold to make space.
So, which players should make way for potential new signings? The likes of Hugo Lloris, Jan Vertonghen, Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela are...

The Express believe that Tottenham Hotspur are set to find out imminently if their summer-long pursuit of Mateo Musacchio is going to end with their acquisition of the player.
Musacchio’s club, Villarreal, travel to the Kazakhstan capital of Astana this evening for their Europa League qualifying play-off round first leg tie with Fc Astana on Thursday. If Musacchio is on the plane with the rest of his team-mates, the deal will likely be off. If he is absent, it would likely indicate that a move is still on the cards.
Musacchio’s fellow Argentinian – Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino – has been keen to shore up Spurs’ leaky defence since joining the club from Southampton earlier in the summer and he has already signed Michel Vorm as goalkeeping back-up and Ben Davies to make the left back position more competitive, with both players arriving from Swansea City.

According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are willing to let their Cameroon international left back Benoit Assou-Ekotto leave the club on a free transfer.
Assou-Ekotto, who was loaned out to Harry Redknapp’s Queens Park Rangers in the Championship last season, has been pushed down the pecking order by both the arrival of Ben Davies from Swansea City and Danny Rose’s emergence last year – the latter of whom has recently signed a new five year contract.
The left back has one year left on his contract at White Hart Lane, but Spurs are willing to cut their losses as they streamline their squad under new boss Mauricio Pochettino – particularly as he disgraced himself at the World Cup this summer by head-butting a team-mate on the pitch during Cameroon’s defeat to Croatia in the group stages.

There hasn’t been an awful lot of transfer activity this summer at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, but the players, staff and fans alike are still excited about what is looking like a very promising season in 2014-15.

There hasn’t been an awful lot of transfer activity this summer at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, but the players, staff and fans alike are still excited about what is looking like a very promising season in 2014-15.

When Spurs signed Ben Davies in a double deal with Michel Vorm from Swansea City earlier this summer – a deal that saw Gylfi Sigurdsson and £3.5 million go the other way – it was generally considered to be the answer to the club’s long-standing left back prayers.
It’s a position the club have struggled to satisfactorily fill for years and last season epitomised this fact more than ever. Benoit Assou-Ekotto was sent out on loan to Queens Park Rangers and he certainly won’t be going back to White Hart Lane after his World Cup head-butting exploits. Danny Rose flattered to deceive for much of the season and, when he was injured, Kyle Naughton and Jan Vertonghen were forced to deputise in a position that isn’t favoured by either of them.

Dutch international attacking midfielder Memphis Depay – a well-known Spurs target this summer – is refusing to discuss a potential move to White Hart Lane, insisting on focusing on his Psv Eindhoven career at the moment.
According to The Daily Star, Depay told Dutch news outlet Nos in no uncertain terms that he didn’t want to discuss his future, saying the following:
People have asked already hundred times about my future, so I don’t want to talk about it any more. We will see, but for now I am a player from Psv.
Depay certainly seemed focused on his career in his homeland at the weekend, as Psv recorded a 3-1 victory over Willem II, scoring two of their goals and performing admirably.

Spurs are continuing to add new players to their squad this summer as American full-back DeAndre Yedlin is on the brink of signing at White Hart Lane. The 21-year-old has travelled to London after impressing new Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino and will complete a permanent move.
And while he’s a prospect, having played for the USA in Brazil and impressing for Seattle Sounders – enough to earn a £2.5m move – it seems that Spurs might be taking the lessons of last summer on board a little too much.
If you compare Spurs’ spending to Liverpool’s, both last summer and this, you have to wonder if the Spurs board are taking the wrong things from their failure to smartly invest the Gareth Bale money.
Liverpool have correctly identified that all prospects need to be weighed up with experienced players and ones who can have instant impacts.

The London Evening Standard are reporting that Spurs could be priced out of a move for their number one defensive target, Mateo Musacchio, as River Plate – who own 35% of the player’s rights – are insisting on getting more out of the deal for the Villarreal centre back.
Up until a couple of days ago, as was understood by both the Daily Mirror and Sky Sports News, Spurs and Villarreal had agreed a £17 million fee for the two-time Argentina capped defender, but his former employers back in his home country have thrown a spanner in the works by insisting he goes for no less than £39 million in order to make the move worthwhile to them.
Villarreal were believed to be resigned to losing Musacchio when the La Liga’s club coach, Marcelino, admitted at the weekend that he expected the 23-year-old to depart for London...

Goal are reporting that Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have reportedly agreed a deal for Sporting Lisbon and England Under-21 centre back Eric Dier.
The deal is expected to be completed by the end of Thursday and will see the youngster signing on at White Hart Lane for five years, with the Portuguese giants not retaining a sell-on clause.
The 20-year-old – who has been described as “the next Rio Ferdinand” – was born in Cheltenham, England, in 1994 but moved to Portugal as a 10-year-old a decade ago where he was recruited into Sporting’s renowned academy system very swiftly.
He signed his first professional contract with the Lisbon club back in 2010, after which he was loaned out to English Premier League side Everton for half a season the following January – although he did not make an appearance for the Toffees, the experience will have done him no end...

Fans of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have endured a mostly frustrating time over the past few years.
A 2008 League Cup win and a 2010/11 Champions League campaign were the highlights of an otherwise fruitless post-millennium era, with the club failing to qualify for the Champions League by the skin of their teeth on a few occasions – including one occasion in 2011/12 when they did actually finish fourth in the Premier League (thanks to Chelsea – who finished sixth – actually winning Europe’s elite competition that year).
Regardless, every season is always met with renewed optimism – no less so than last season when, despite selling Gareth Bale to Real Madrid, the club spent more than £100 million on seven new players. Of course, Spurs would go on to finish sixth in the league, win no trophies, and qualify for the Europa League yet again.
This season’s optimism is no different. A...

News has broken today that Aston Villa’s defender Ron Vlaar has been placed as Mauricio Pochetinno’s number one defensive target after missing out on Dejan Lovren.
Spurs are already building from the back with recent arrivals of Michel Vorm and Ben Davies from Swansea City and Ron Vlaar could be next on the target list.
Vlaar, who won over many fans after his strong displays for Holland in the World Cup, is hot property and Villa manager Paul Lambert has already said he is not for sale but that won’t deter Daniel Levy in his quest to get Spurs back into the Champions League.
One way around Lambert’s reluctance to sell Vlaar to a Premier league rival will be Spurs plans to use either Michael Dawson and Lewis Holtby in a swap deal to benefit the Villains.

Although Tottenham Hotspur have been very quiet this transfer window with no arrivals being announced as of yet, things may be about to change for Mauricio Pochettino and his new squad.
Real Sociedad winger Antoine Griezmann has been linked in the past and he could be moving to London after Spurs have reportedly made a £20 million approach for him today.
The French World Cup star has a £24 million buy out clause but Daniel Levy is hoping this offer could persuade Real Sociedad to do an early deal before any other interested clubs become alerted to his availability.
The one thing that may damage Spurs hopes of securing the midfielder is their lack of Champions League football. However, with his fellow national team mate Hugo Lloris signing a new five-year contract this could help Griezmann settle at White Hart Lane a lot quicker.

With money in the bank and a new season approaching, Brendan Rodgers is looking for a way to capitalise upon the sale of Luis Suarez – including the reported bid to bring Loic Remy to Anfield from Qpr after Arsenal failed to match the Frenchman’s wage demands.
The club clearly feel the best way of investing their new found wealth is to sneak under the noses of their biggest rivals to steal two of their top transfer targets. Manchester United have been linked with moves for the Juventus pairing of Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba, but rumours have now surfaced that Liverpool could put in a bid for both players. With around £75million in the bank, Rodgers has a transfer sword to wield in order to boost his sides chances of challenging for the Premier League title.

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has turned to Fc Twente winger Dusan Tadic to replace departed midfielder Adam Lallana, according to the Mirror.
The Saints are believed to have agreed a £10 million fee for the 25-year-old Serbia international, who has struck 28 goals in 66 appearances for his club over two seasons.
Tadic has netted a further six in 25 appearances for his country.
The move comes as Lallana became the third Southampton player to leave the club this summer, following teammate Rickie Lambert to Liverpool in a £25 million deal.
Left-back Luke Shaw also left to join Manchester United.
But the south coast club have promised manager Koeman that the proceeds from those transfers will be reinvested back into the side, with the Dutch boss also weighing up more deals.

News is emerging from The Independent that Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have opened talks with Swansea City about the potential transfer of Ivorian World Cup star Wilfried Bony.
This news comes just hours after the two clubs reportedly struck a deal, in principle at least, for the Swans’ Welsh international left back Ben Davies.
Bony cost Swansea £12 million when he joined from Dutch top flight side Vitesse last summer – a club for whom he scored 46 goals in 65 league appearances in the Eredivisie. The Ivory Coast star hit the ground running immediately in England, scoring 25 goals in all competions, 16 of which came in the Premier League.
It is expected that the striker would cost Spurs £20 million – an £8 million profit for Swansea, who have recently signed Bafétimbi Gomis to ease the blow of Bony’s potential sale. Bony scored twice in the current World Cup for the Ivory Coast,...

Here at WhatCulture.com, we’ve recently looked in to which left back Spurs should sign (a question that apparently no longer needs answering, as Swansea’s Welsh international Ben Davies appears to be on his way to White Hart Lane) and which striker Spurs should sign by posing the question to you, the fans. Now, let’s take a look at the final truly troublesome position at the club – centre back.
On paper, Spurs look to have the centre back positions covered. Jan Vertonghen stands out as the star man and he is joined by the talented Younes Kaboul, the long-serving Michael Dawson and young Romania captain Vlad Chiriches. However, Vertonghen aside, the other three all come with problems; Kaboul is as injury prone as they come, Dawson has never truly been a top of the table quality player and has been told he can leave,...

A brace from Kevin Nolan secures a huge three points for the Hammers as they continue to struggle against relegation from the English Premier League.
Both headed assists came from former Newcastle man Andy Carroll, who subsequently found himself taking an early bath after appearing to accidentally catch Chico Flores with his arm on 59 minutes.
Despite the numerical disadvantage, the Hammers comfortably held off the Welsh outfit to secure a much-needed win.
Nolan’s opener came on 26 minutes. Carroll nodded down a cross to the captain, who had time to control the ball before hammering home the opening goal.
The second came on 45 minutes, just before the break. Carroll nodded on a corner for Nolan to finish the job with a neat header.
The result moves the Hammers onto 22 points, within 3 goals of safety as it stands in 18th place.

Manchester United take on Swansea in the Fa Cup third round knowing they have never lost a home meeting with the South Wales side.
A 4-1 away victory for the Red Devils at the Liberty Stadium on the opening day of the Premier League season ensured David Moyes won his first competitive game in charge. Both he and Michael Laudrup have depleted squads for this encounter as United and the Swans are missing players from their attacks.
The Red Devils saw a run of six straight wins in all competitions stopped by Tottenham Hotspur on New Year’s Day. Home form is a concern for Moyes as his team have only record victory in two of the last five at Old Trafford.
Swansea meanwhile are on seven-match winless streak and picked up just a single Premier League point during the festive period.

Ross Barkley’s fine free kick ensured Everton would sit in the top five of the Premier League at Christmas as they won at Swansea. A Bryan Oviedo own goal had earlier cancelled out a sensational strike from Seamus Coleman – all in the second half.
Similar styles and systems meant this match was decidedly tactical from the outset. That naturally diminished the amount of goalmouth action. Gerhard Tremmel in the Swans goal saved routinely from Kevin Mirallas, but that chance apart defences were on top.
Barkley fell over at the crucial moment when in behind the home side after a goalless first half. Seamus Coleman then went on a tear, but last-ditch defending denied Everton again. Swansea pair Chico Flores and Ashley Williams earlier put in several blocks.

There wasn’t much to inspire either set of spectators in this drab draw in Cardiff’s Millenium Stadium on Wednesday night, as Wales and the Republic of Ireland played out a 0-0 scoreline.
The best of the chances fell to West Brom striker Shane Long, who had 2 good chances either side of the break. Paddy Madden and Robbie Brady also had good chances for the visitors, who dominated a dreadful match. Neither side managed a shot on target in the first half; the first save of the game was made by Sunderland keeper Kieran Westwood; diving to smother a Craig Bellamy free-kick.
Wales looked frankly toothless without the talismanic Gareth Bale, who watched from the sidelines, and will not relish their final qualifying games, unless they can seriously improve their form. Ireland were on top for much of the second half, and their inability to take chances will worry their Italian manager Giovanni Trappatoni.

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup is unlikely to make too many changes to the side that lost 2-0 to Chelsea last weekend.
Neil Taylor made an appearance from the bench in that game to complete his comeback from a lengthy spell on the sidelines and he could start in place of Ben Davies.
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is however expected to ring the changes for Saturday’s visit to Wales. Matija Nastasic is expected to replace Joleon Lescott while James Milner and Javi Garcia are both pushing for starts.
Sergio Aguero is expected to keep his place in spite of the upcoming Fa Cup Final with Wigan Athletic.

Spurs kicked things off at the Liberty Stadium, on a chilly but calm Saturday afternoon, in a match that could define their season.
Both teams made tentative starts, passing cautiously but not really making any substantial progress in the opening minutes.
But, after seven minutes, Spurs opened the scoring through Jan Vertonghen. The Belgian found himself in possession on the halfway line and burst forward, playing a neat one-two with Gareth Bale, latching on to the Welshman’s classy through-ball and calmly slotting past Michel Vorm in the Swansea goal.
The next few minutes saw Spurs find themselves with the wind in their sails, and Gylfi Sigurdsson almost put Bale through in the eleventh minute, but Vorm gathered.
On the twelve minute mark, Adebayor was put clean through on goal by Moussa Dembele, but the Togolese marksman’s finish was lacklustre and straight at Vorm. He really should have put Spurs two goals up.

Home Nations rivals Scotland and Wales will face-off tomorrow at Hampden Park, with both sides needing a win to keep any hope alive of qualifying for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The two bottom sides in Group A met last October at the Millenium Stadium with Wales emerging victorious thanks to a Gareth Bale double. James Morrison had earlier scored for the Scots and Steven Fletcher had a goal disallowed but like much of Craig Levein’s tenure as Scotland manager luck was not on their side.
Chris Coleman also has not endured the best of times as a national team manager. However, he picked up his second win as Wales manager in February when Austria were beaten 2-1. This gives them some momentum going into this match. Scotland also have a new sense of optimism with former Celtic boss Gordon Strachan now at the helm and he will be...

Regardless of what happens this Sunday, Manchester United will be top of the Premier League on Christmas Day for the eighth time in Sir Alex Ferguson’s tenure as manager. Even so, with the festive spirit high, Swansea won’t be an easy conquest on home turf, especially with the Swans fighting to keep their place in the top half of the table for the New Year.
United beat their Welsh opponents 2-0 last May at Old Trafford, thanks to goals from Ashley Young and Paul Scholes, but still the title slipped from their grasp. This season the Red Devils will want to collect as many points as they can to avoid the same final-day heartbreak.
