Steigert, and stars Richard Satterwhite, Jason John Beebe, Sara Manzella along with co-stars Kathy Murphy, Alexander Sloan McBryde, Brenda Rickert and Aryn Fitzgerald.
The film hits VOD next week – September 9th to be precise, before hitting retail markets in December.

Back in January 2012 we got the first word on Ombis, which then became Ombis: Alien Invasion and is now known as Not Human. After some false starts, the film is finally arriving on VOD and DVD, and it's gotten some new artwork to celebrate.

Production on Ombis is in full swing, and there's lots of new stuff to share: Teaser Trailer #2, a video interview with makeup FX artist Phill Beith, and a photo from The Buffalo Comic & Pop Culture Con with John Amplas, star of George A. Romero’s Martin, Creepshow, and Dawn of the Dead.

DefTone Pictures Studios announces supermodel Melyssa Jade (pictured right) has signed on to do a cameo in the upcoming epic feature film Ombis. Ms. Jade was winner of the Miss Hawaiian Tropics USA. She has been featured on Animal Planet, is soon to be the star of her own reality television series, and has appeared in many commercials. Ombis is a 1950's style alien invasion film in which a life form crash lands in Metsburgh, a village whose glory days are long past. It begins to infect the townsfolk, making them host to a supernatural virus whose sole purpose is to replicate itself. But the virus is not the only thing that has invaded this small community. A creature known as the Nemesis has also arrived in an attempt to contain the alien plague that originated from its home planet. It's been a few months since last we heard anything about DefTone Pictures Studios' Black Guy on a Rampage, but the collection of three short films is getting a limited theatrical release starting March 3rd, the same day as its DVD release. A week or so ago we got the first word on DefTone Pictures Studios' Ombis, which is being co-directed by Adam Steigert and Mark Mendola, and now we have more details on the locations being used for the shoot along with a projected release date and a few behind-the-scenes photos.
