When you're sick, sometimes lying in bed all day is the last thing you want to do. And sometimes binge-watching a new series -- perhaps one you've never seen before -- is just what you need. So take a moment to get cozy, make some hot tea, put up your feet, and check out these five shows that will have you laughing, crying, and feeling better in no time.
'Downton Abbey' (2010 - 2015)
"Downton Abbey" is one great to watch when you're not feeling quite like yourself and all you want to do is be outside. The idyllic setting, music, costumes, and simplicity of early 1900s England makes your day, or days, at home ever more peaceful. On top of it all, drama of its aristocratic small town -- full of murder, mayhem, and tea service -- will have you laughing, crying, and forgetting all about your sick day.

Warning: The following contains spoilers from Thursday’s series finale of White Collar.
White Collar said au revoir on Thursday night with a series finale that just as easily could have been titled “Keep On Chasing.”
After pulling the ultimate con and faking his death, Neal jetted off to Paris. Meanwhile, Peter mourned the loss of his pal for a year until he discovered Neal’s secret storage locker, full of medical research and an article about the Louvre’s upgraded security system. With a small smile, the G-man realized his partner was still alive.

Thursday's series finale of White Collar (9/8c, USA) promises to be not only the biggest con of Neal Caffrey's career, but also the biggest undercover act of Peter Burke's. If he can pull it off, that is.
Last week's penultimate episode of the USA series ended with Peter (Tim DeKay) posing as a master thief who Neal (Matt Bomer) had brought in to join the Pink Panthers for their $500 million heist. However, Woodford, the leader of the elite group, didn't exactly welcome him with open arms, and the episode ended with a gun to Peter's head. Thankfully, Peter's years spent working with Neal will...

Thursday’s series finale of White Collar (USA Network, 9/8c) will have you glued to your seat – or at least that’s how star Tim DeKay recommends you watch the farewell hour.
“Do not walk away – and I know you wouldn’t anyway – but do not walk away until the final second of the episode,” the actor warns. “We’ve got some great twists and turns, some wonderful moments between everybody. And I think it fits on all the tones that have made White Collar what it is.”

Tim DeKay has been cast to play Senator Maynard Ward on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and that’s a name that should be familiar to you. Remember last season on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. when we saw Agent Ward’s supersad backstory so we wouldn’t hate him quite so much after he (Spoiler!) killed All Those People? And it was really super sad. He was basically a cute little pitbull puppy abused until he won a lot of dog fights. (I still hate him, though. He killed so many people, and he has more agency than a dog.) Anyway, Ward’s path to the dark side began with his sadistic, abusive older brother named Maynard, who also forced him to abuse their other, even younger brother. He was a real peach, and so it’s no surprise that he joined the U.S. Senate.
